Claims
- 1. A programmable controller including internal information storage means for storing predetermined internal information relating to a plurality of devices that each have an address, said programmable controller being equipped with a programmable controller unit and a peripheral device operating under the control of a sequence program, said programmable controller comprising:
- timing means;
- input means; and
- display means for reading and displaying sequentially and individually the information relating to said devices stored in said internal information storage means by sequentially changing read addresses that correspond to said devices at a first predetermined interval for a first predetermined number of read addresses and at a second predetermined interval for said read addresses following said first predetermined number of read addresses based on the timing output of said timing means according to a predetermined directive entered from said input means.
- 2. The programmable controller as defined in claim 1, further comprising a plurality of timing means, and wherein the display means reads and displays sequentially the information in said internal information storage means by changing the read addresses at predetermined intervals based on one of the timing means that is pre-selected out of said plurality of timing means according to a predetermined directive entered from said input means.
- 3. A displaying method for a programmable controller which includes internal information storage means for storing predetermined internal information relating to devices that each have an address, said programmable controller being equipped with a programmable controller unit and a peripheral device operating under the control of a sequence program, comprising the steps of:
- displaying the internal information stored at the predetermined address of said internal information storage means; and
- reading and displaying sequentially and individually the information relating to said devices stored in said internal information storage means by sequentially changing a first predetermined number of the addresses at a first predetermined interval and the addresses following the first predetermined number of addresses at a second predetermined interval according to a predetermined directive entered.
- 4. A displaying method for a programmable controller which includes internal information storage means for storing predetermined internal information relating to devices that each have an address, said programmable controller being equipped with a programmable controller unit and a peripheral device operating under the control of a sequence program, comprising the steps of:
- displaying the information stored at a predetermined address of said internal information storage means that corresponds to one of said devices;
- directing and entering first and second display intervals; and
- reading and displaying sequentially and individually the storage contents of said internal information storage means by sequentially changing the address of information to be read for a first predetermined number of times at said first display interval and a for a second predetermined number of times at said second display interval.
