Claims
- 1. A projecting apparatus having a projecting lens which projects an enlarged image of an object to be projected onto a projection plane from a predetermined inclined direction with respect to the projection plane comprising an auxiliary projecting lens provided between said projecting lens and the object, said auxiliary projecting lens having a principal plane which is inclined with respect to the surface of the object, so that an image surface of an intermediate image formed by said auxiliary projecting lens is inclined with the principal plane of said projecting lens, wherein said auxiliary projecting lens and said projecting lens are located to satisfy the relationships:
- sin .theta.1'/sin .theta.2=-(f1/f2).multidot.(tan .theta.1'/tan .theta.1).multidot.(tan .theta.1'/tan .theta.2), and
- sin .theta.1/sin .theta.2'=-f1/f2;
- wherein, f1=focal length of said auxiliary projecting lens,
- f2=focal length of said projecting lens,
- .theta.= intersecting angle of an extension of the principal plane of said auxiliary projecting lens and an extension of a surface of an object to be projected,
- .theta.1'=intersecting angle of an extension of the principal plane of said auxiliary projecting lens and an extension of an image surface of an image formed by said auxiliary projecting lens,
- .theta.2=intersecting angle of an extension of an image surface of an intermediate image formed by said auxiliary projecting lens and an extension of a principal plane of said projecting lens, and
- .theta.2'=intersecting angle of an extension of a principal plane of said projecting lens and an extension of the projecting plane.
- 2. A projecting apparatus according to claim 1, wherein a projection light path from said projecting lens to the projection plane is a linear light path along which an image light transmitted through said projecting lens is directly projected onto the projection plane.
- 3. A projecting apparatus according to claim 1, wherein a projection light path from said projection lens to the projection plane is a refracted light path having at least one reflection mirror therein to reflect an image light transmitted through said projecting lens projected onto the projection plane.
- 4. A projecting apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said object is a light transmission type of object.
- 5. A projecting apparatus according to claim 4, wherein said light transmission type object is a liquid crystal display panel which is illuminated from behind.
- 6. A projecting apparatus according to claim 4, wherein said light transmission type object is a light transmitting film which is illuminated from behind.
- 7. A projecting apparatus according to claim 4, wherein said light transmission type object is a self-light emitting type object.
- 8. A projecting apparatus according to claim 7, wherein said self-light emitting object is a Braun tube.
- 9. A projecting apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said object is a reflection type of object which does not permit light to pass therethrough.
- 10. A projecting apparatus accoding to claim 9, further comprising a light source for illuminating said reflection type object from above.
- 11. A projecting apparatus according to claim 10, wherein said reflection type object is a testpiece to be inspected.
- 12. A projecting apparatus according to claim 10, wherein said apparatus is an overhead projector.
- 13. A projecting apparatus according to claim 11, wherein said light source for illuminating the testpiece can change the direction of illumination between a first direction for a bright field in which a regular reflection light reflected by said testpiece is incident upon said auxiliary projecting lens and a second direction for a dark field in which the regular reflection light is not made incident upon said auxiliary projecting lens.
- 14. A projecting apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said auxiliary projecting lens is made of a convex lens.
- 15. A projecting apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said auxiliary projecting lens is made of a concave lens.
- 16. A projecting apparatus according to claim 1, wherein said intermediate image formed by said auxiliary projection lens is an aerial image.
- 17. A projecting apparatus according to claim 1, further comprising an intermediate image forming plane on which said intermediate image is formed.
- 18. A rear projection-type projector including a casing provided with a display window and an image projecting apparatus mounted in said casing, said image projecting apparatus comprising:
- screen means, of a transmission-type, provided on said display window for permitting the transmission of an image through said window, a rear surface of said screen means facing into said casing;
- at least one liquid crystal display means for forming an image;
- light source means for illuminating said liquid crystal display means; and
- projecting means for enlarging and projecting said image formed by said liquid crystal display means onto said screen means, said projecting means comprising:
- first projecting lens means, having a principal plane located on a first imaginary plane, for projecting said image formed by said liquid crystal display means to form an intermediate image on a second imaginary plane;
- second projecting lens means having a principal plane located on a third imaginary plane, for projecting said intermediate image; and
- at least one reflection mirror positioned for reflecting said intermediate image projected by said second projecting lens means onto said rear surface of said screen means from a direction inclined with respect to said screen means;
- wherein an extended imaginary plane of said image formed by said liquid crystal display means, said first imaginary plane and said second imaginary plane intersect at least on a first imaginary straight line, said second imaginary plane, said third imaginary plane and an extended imaginary plane of an imaginary screen extending through said reflection mirror intersects at least on a second imaginary straight line.
- 19. A rear projection-type projector according to claim 18, wherein said screen means is a transmission-type screen means, and comprises refracting means for correcting the reflected image so as to project in a direction normal to said screen means.
- 20. A projector apparatus having a projecting lens which projects an enlarged image of an object to be projected onto a projection plane from a predetermined direction with respect to the projection plane, said projector apparatus comprising an auxiliary projecting lens provided between the projecting lens and the object to be projected, said auxiliary projecting lens having a principal plane which is inclined with respect to the surface of the object to be projected, so that an image surface of an intermediate image formed by said auxiliary projecting lens is inclined with respect to the principal plane of said projecting lens, wherein the optical axis of the said auxiliary projecting lens and the optical axis of said projecting lens coincide with each other.
- 21. The projecting apparatus according to claim 20, wherein the focal point of said projecting lens and the focal point of said auxiliary projecting lens coincide with each other.
