Claims
- 1. An apron for use by an operaator in a meat processing plant who uses a knife during various meat cutting procedures in which the knife is manipulated adjacent to and in facing relation to the frontal surface area of the person using the knife, said apron covering the frontal surface area and being constructed of a flexible fabric of non-metallic aramid fiber, such as "Kevlar", said apron being substantially impenetrable by the knife edge thereby protecting the wearer from accidental injury due to cutting when manipulating the knife.
- 2. The apron as defined in claim 1 wherein said flexible fabric is constructed with a single layer of non-metallic aramid fiber formed by using conventional fabric manufacturing techniques.
