Claims
- 1. A protective plate for a plasma display comprising a conductive substrate for protecting a plasma display and an electrode in electrical contact with the conductive substrate.
- 2. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 1, wherein the conductive substrate for protecting a plasma display comprises a substrate and a conductive film formed on the substrate.
- 3. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 2, wherein the substrate is a glass plate.
- 4. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 2, wherein a resinous film for preventing the scattering of the protective plate is provided on a front surface and/or a rear surface of the substrate, or the substrate is laminated on a separate substrate by interposing a resinous interlayer, whereby a scattering protection property is provided.
- 5. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 2, wherein a resinous film of low refractive index is provided or a thin film of low refractive index is formed, on a front surface and/or a rear surface of the substrate, whereby an anti-reflection property is provided.
- 6. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claims 2, wherein the conductive film is a multi-layer conductive film wherein an oxide layer and a metal layer are laminated alternately from a substrate side to form in total (2n+1) layers (wherein n is an integer of at least 1).
- 7. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 6, wherein the oxide layer is an oxide layer comprising ZnO as the main component, and the metal layer is a metal layer comprising Ag as the main component.
- 8. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 7, wherein the oxide layer comprising ZnO as the main component is an oxide layer comprising ZnO containing at least one metal.
- 9. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 8, wherein the proportion of the total amount of the at least one metal contained in ZnO is within 1-10 atomic % based on the sum of the total amount of the metal and Zn.
- 10. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 9, wherein the metal contained in ZnO is at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Sn Al, Cr, Ti, Si, B, Mg and Ga.
- 11. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 10, wherein the metal layer is a metal layer comprising Ag as the main component.
- 12. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 11, wherein the metal layer comprising Ag as the main component is a metal layer comprising Ag containing Pd and/or Au.
- 13. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 12, wherein the proportion of the total amount of Pd and/or Au is within 0.3-10 atomic % based on the sum of Ag and the total amount of Pd and/or Au.
- 14. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 6, wherein the conductive film is a multi-layer conductive film in which an oxide layer and a metal layer are alternately laminated into 7 layers.
- 15. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 14, wherein the film thickness of the fourth metal layer among the second metal layer, the fourth metal layer and the sixth metal layer in the 7 layer conductive film is larger than that of the second metal layer and is larger than that of the sixth metal layer.
- 16. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 1, wherein a moisture-proof film is provided to prevent the deterioration of the conductive film due to moisture.
- 17. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 1, wherein a film having a near infrared ray absorbing property is provided.
- 18. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 5, wherein the resinous film of low refractive index is a colored film.
- 19. The protective plate for a plasma display according to claim 16, wherein the moisture-proof film is a colore film.
- 20. A method for producing a protective plate for a plasma display comprising forming an electrode in the entire periphery of a substrate and forming a conductive film to cover the electrode.
