Claims
- 1. An isolated nucleic acid encoding geranylgeranyltransferase type I (GGTase-I) wherein a .beta. subunit of said GGTase-I has the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ.ID NO:2 or SEQ.ID NO:4.
- 2. An isolated nucleic acid encoding the .alpha. subunit of mammalian GGTase-I wherein the nucleic acid encodes the amino acid sequence set forth in SEQ.ID NO:2 or SEQ.ID NO:4.
- 3. The isolated nucleic acid according to claim 2 wherein the nucleic acid has the sequence shown in SEQ.ID NO:1 or SEQ.ID NO:3 or a sequence substantially identical thereto.
