This non-provisional utility application claims priority from Taiwan Application NO. 107204934 filed on Apr. 16, 2018, the content thereof is incorporated by reference herein in its entirety.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a puzzle. More specifically, the present invention discloses a plurality of puzzle pieces that interlock or stack to create a complete puzzle shape or puzzle design.

Description of the Prior Art

A conventional puzzle is a flat piece of cardboard with a printed surface on top. The puzzle pieces have tabs and slots that connect two pieces together. In the puzzle game, the player is required to match the printed surface pattern on the puzzle piece to another piece to form the complete pattern.

Parents are paying closer attention to the education of their children. Parents choose games that are fun, and hope that it will help their children's mental growth by playing the games. The puzzle requires ability to break up and restructure the game, put together the pieces in the process, focus on positioning, direction, and other puzzle pieces, in order to arrange the original unsolved puzzle pieces together to form the completed puzzle.

In the process of playing the game, not only can the user train their imagination and concentration, but they can improve their patience. Therefore, jigsaw puzzles are of great help to the growth of minds.

However, in conventional puzzles, most of the surface of the puzzle piece has a pattern to identify the position of the tile, therefore a user can easily complete the puzzle. Since the size or shape of each of the puzzle blocks are not equal, completing the puzzle is not too difficult.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

An objective of the present invention is to provide a puzzle set comprising a plurality of puzzle pieces and alignment markings to aid in placing the puzzle pieces. Each puzzle piece comprises at least four shaped puzzle piece sections of a variety of shapes or geometries. The complex puzzle pieces interlock, connect, or stack with each other. The shape of the puzzle pieces and the shape of the puzzle piece sections aid in teaching planning, training intellect, imagination, concentration, and other educational benefits.

Creation of the puzzle set by varying the number of puzzle pieces, the size of the puzzle pieces, the shape of the puzzle pieces, the shape and position of the puzzle piece sections, the pattern or shape of the completed puzzle, produces a much greater control over adapting the puzzle to a user, thereby increasing the learning and enjoyment in completing the puzzle.

Further, when the puzzle piece is provided with a stacked puzzle piece that connects to the top of the puzzle piece, extended gameplay is provided by the puzzle.

In an embodiment of the present invention at least four puzzle pieces are arranged and connected together.

In an embodiment of the present invention the puzzle piece shape or geometry is I-shaped, T-shaped, L-shaped, J shaped, O-shaped, Z-shaped, or S-shaped, or a combination of these shapes.

In an embodiment of the present invention the puzzle piece, or the puzzle piece outer surface comprises material of at least one color.

In an embodiment of the present invention the planar shape of puzzle piece sections are of arbitrary geometry.

In an embodiment of the present invention the puzzle piece and/or the puzzle piece section are a hollow shape.

In an embodiment of the present invention the puzzle piece comprises a secondary puzzle piece that attaches to a receiving groove on the top surface of the original puzzle piece so that the secondary puzzle piece is stacked on top of the original puzzle piece.

In an embodiment of the present invention the stacked puzzle piece comprises the same shape as the original puzzle piece.

In an embodiment of the present invention the puzzle piece allows for a plurality of stacked puzzle pieces.

In an embodiment of the present invention a puzzle pattern with puzzle piece aid is provided to direct the placement of the puzzle pieces and shows the pattern shape of the completed puzzle.

In an embodiment of the present invention the puzzle frame comprises a guideline for denoting coordinates.

In an embodiment of the present invention the puzzle frame further comprises a plurality of alignment markings.

In an embodiment of the present invention the plurality of puzzle pieces and the plurality of puzzle piece sections each comprise a joint structure such that the plurality of puzzle pieces and puzzle piece sections fit to mating pieces and sections.

In an embodiment of the present invention the puzzle frame and the plurality of puzzle pieces comprise a fixing component that attaches the puzzle pieces to the puzzle frame.

In an embodiment of the present invention the fixing component comprises a magnet, a re-usable adhesive, felt, or Velcro.

It is to be understood that both the foregoing general description and the following detailed description are exemplary, and are intended to provide further explanation of the invention as claimed.
