DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
The PVC Swivel Connector is a new concept in using PVC piping as portable fencing and other structures. It can be permanent as well. With steel fences or even aluminum fences they are heavy and will pit or rust and get very dinged up. With the PVC connector you can set up a portable fence or structure very quickly and easily and break it down even faster. It can fit in a smaller area because all of it can come in pieces instead of larger sections as other portable fences.
The PVC swivel connector is made of PVC and it is molded on the main body in a curvature shape that contours with the size of the PVC pipe it is being connected to. Once it is screwed into the wall of the post then you can place a 2″, 3″, 4″ 6″, or larger PVC pipe onto the PVC Swivel Connector. The connector allows the pipe to in a straight position or any angled position in an up and down or vertical position in a 180 degree motion. This allows the fence for instance to be set up on any sort of terrain whether it is uphill or downhill and if the terrain is varied and sloped. As long as the post is anchored the fence or piping making up the rails of the fence will not fall off the connector. The connector is designed so that up to four connectors can be screwed into one post making it possible to set up a larger fence with many different sections as they are needed. The connector has a very strong stem that protrudes from the face plate with a hole in the front center. The swivel portion is round as the shape of the pipe and is sized to the size of the pipe being used to make the fence or structure. A rivet bolt holds the swivel portion to the stem portion and produces a very strong connector that can withstand a great deal of force. Because it is made of PVC there is no rusting or pitting, it is very lightweight and very strong. This makes it very portable and can be made into a permanent structure that will last for many more years than a metal fence or structure. The swivel part can be hollow or solid as is needed by the application.
