Claims
- 1. A compound of the formula VII ##STR26## in which one of R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 and one of R.sub.9 and R.sub.10 are hydrogen and the other two radicals are, independently of each other, unsubstituted biphenyl or naphthyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 -alkoxy-substituted phenyl, biphenyl or naphthyl or a heterocyclic radical selected from the group consisting of pyridyl, pyrazinyl, triazinyl, furyl, pyrrolyl, thienyl, quinolyl, coumarinyl, indolyl, benzofuranyl, benzimidazolyl and benzoxazolyl, and X and Y are independently of each other hydrogen, halogen or cyano.
- 2. A compound according to claim 1, of the formula VII in which one of R.sub.7 and R.sub.8 and one of R.sub.9 and R.sub.10 are hydrogen and the other two radicals are, independently of each other, p-biphenyl or .beta.-naphthyl and X and Y are hydrogen.
- 3. A compound according to claim 1, of the formula VII in which R.sub.8 and R.sub.10 are hydrogen.
- 4. A compound according to claim 1, of the formula VII in which R.sub.8 and R.sub.10 are hydrogen, R.sub.7 and R.sub.9 are identical and are p-biphenyl or .beta.-naphthyl, and X and Y are hydrogen.
