Claims
- 1. A quaternized oxatellurazinium salt of the formula ##STR39## wherein: G represents a benzo or naphtho nucleus;
- R represents hydrogen or an alkyl moiety optionally linked through a divalent oxy, thio, or carbonyl linkage, said alkyl moiety containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms;
- Q represents an alkyl, sulfoalkyl, or sulfatoalkyl substituent of from 1 to 6 carbon atoms or a dioxolane ring; and
- X represents bromide or chloride.
- 2. 1,1,1-Tribromo-3,4-dimethyl-2,1,4-benzoxatellurazinium, inner salt.
- 3. 1,1,1-Tribromo-4-ethyl-3,6-dimethyl-2,1,4-benzoxatellurazolium, inner salt.
- 4. 1,1,1-Tribromo-4,6,7-trimethyl-3-methylthio-2,1,4-benzoxatellurazinium, inner salt.
- 5. 1,1,1-Trichloro-4-ethyl-3,6-dimethyl-2,1,4-benzoxatellurazinium, inner salt.
