Claims
- 1. A 7-aminoquinolinone compound expressed by the following formula (I): ##STR6## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms;
- R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are identical groups, selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, and a straight-chain or branched-chain alkenyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms; and
- R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are mutually different or identical groups, each of which is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an alkanoly group, a benzoyl group, a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, a straight-chain or branched-chain alkenyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms, and an aralkyl group; or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof.
- 2. A 7-aminoquinolinone compound in accordance with claim 1, wherein R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are hydrogen; or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof.
- 3. A 7-aminoquinolinone compound in accordance with claim 1, wherein R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, or straight-chain or branched-chain alkenyl groups having 2-10 carbon atoms; or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof.
- 4. A 7-aminoquinolinone compound in accordance with claim 2, wherein R.sub.4 is a hydrogen atom; and R.sub.5 is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atoms, an alkanoyl group, a benzoyl group, a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, a straight-chain or branched-chain alkenyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms and an aralkyl group having 7-8 carbon atoms; or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof.
- 5. A 7-aminoquinolinone compound in accordance with claim 1, wherein R.sub.4 is a hydrogen atom; and R.sub.5 is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, an alkanoyl group, a benzoyl group, a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, a straight-chain or branched-chain alkenyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms and an aralkyl group; or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof.
- 6. A 7-aminoquinolinone compound in accordance with claim 4, wherein R.sub.5 is an alkanoyl group or a benzoyl group; or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof.
- 7. A 7-aminoquinolinone compound in accordance with claim 5, wherein R.sub.5 is an alkanoyl group or a benzoyl group; or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof.
- 8. An antiallergic agent comprising a 7-aminoquinolinone compound or physiologically acceptable salt thereof in accordance with any one of claims 1 through 7 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
- 9. A 7-nitroquinolinone compound expressed by the following formula (II): ##STR7## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms; and
- R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are the same and are selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, and a straight-chain or branched-chain alkenyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms.
- 10. A method of using the 7-nitroquinolinone compound expressed by the formula (II) as an intermediate to make a corresponding 7-aminoquinolinone compound or physiologically acceptable salt thereof as defined by any one of claims 1 through 7, the method comprising the step of reducing the 7-nitroquinolinone compound. ##STR8## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms; and
- R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are the same and are selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, and a straight-chain or branched-chain alkenyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms.
- 11. A method of using the 7-nitroquinolinone compound expressed by the formula (II) as an intermediate to make a corresponding 7-aminoquinolinone compound or physiologically acceptable salt thereof as defined by any one of claims 1 through 7, the method comprising the step of reducing the 7-nitroquinolinone compound ##STR9## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms; and
- each of R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 is a hydrogen atom, a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, or a straight-chain or branched-chain alkenyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms.
- 12. A 7-aminoquinolinone compound expressed by the following formula (I): ##STR10## wherein R .sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms;
- R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are identical groups, selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, and a straight-chain or branched-chain alkenyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms; and
- R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 are mutually different or identical groups, each of which is selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atoms, an alkanoyl group, a benzoyl group, a cinnamoyl group, a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, a straight-chain or branched-chain alkenyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms, and an aralkyl group; or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof,
- wherein said compound of formula (I) is obtained by reduction of the nitro group in the 7-nitroquinolinone compound expressed by the following formula (II): ##STR11## wherein R.sub.1 is a hydrogen atom or a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms; and
- R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are identical groups, selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen atom, a straight-chain or branched-chain alkyl group having 1-10 carbon atoms, and a straight-chain or branched-chain alkenyl group having 2-10 carbon atoms.
- said reduction reaction being performed by hydrogenation in an atmosphere of hydrogen gas in the presence of a metal catalyst in an organic solvent at a temperature from 0 to 100.degree. C.,
- wherein said reduction is followed by an alkylation reaction in the event any one of the groups R.sub.4 or R.sub.5 is an alkyl group; said reduction reaction is followed by an alkenylation reaction in the event any one of the groups R.sub.4 or R.sub.5 is an alkenyl group, and said reduction reaction is followed by an aralkylation reaction in the event any one of the groups R.sub.4 or R.sub.5 is an aralkyl group.
