Claims
- 1. A material suitable for use as a bonding material under impact for lift-off correction of printing consisting essentially of the ionizing-radiation-cured product of the mixture of a triacrylate consisting essentially of acrylate moieties and an alkyl moiety and a polyacidic acid of the fatty-acid type having at least one unsaturated ring structure of carbon molecules.
- 2. The material as in claim 1 in which said polyacrylate is trimethylol propane triacrylate.
- 3. The material as in claim 1 in which said polyacidic acid comprises at least thirty carbon atoms having at least one unsaturated site in a six member ring structure of carbon molecules.
- 4. The material as in claim 2 in which said polyacidic acid comprises at least thirty carbon atoms having at least one unsaturated site in a six member ring structure of carbon molecules.
- 5. The material as in claim 3 in which said acid and said triacrylate are in the range of about 0.8 to 2.4 parts by weight of said acid to one part by weight of said triacrylate.
- 6. The material as in claim 4 in which said acid and said triacrylate are in the range of about 0.8 to 2.4 parts by weight of said acid to one part by weight of said triacrylate.
- 7. The material as in claim 3 in which said acid consists essentially of dilinoleic acid.
- 8. The material as in claim 4 in which said acid consists essentially of dilinoleic acid.
- 9. The material as in claim 5 in which said acid consists essentially of dilinoleic acid.
- 10. The material as in claim 6 in which said acid consists essentially of dilinoleic acid.
- 11. The material as in claim 9 wherein the composition from which the ionizing-radiation-cured product is prepared also comprises a diol diacrylate and an octyl polyethoxy ethanol, both providing compatibility prior to curing, and an ultraviolet initiator.
- 12. The material as in claim 10 wherein the composition from which the ionizing-radiation-cured product is prepared also comprises a diol diacrylate and an octyl polyethoxy ethanol, both providing compatability prior to curing, and an ultraviolet initiator.
- 13. The material as in claim 12 wherein the composition from which the ionizing-radiation-cured product is prepared comprises in the order of magnitude of 56 parts by weight of said acid, at least 42 parts by weight being said dilinoleic acid, 32 parts by weight of said trimethyol propane triacetate, 5 parts by weight of said diol diacrylate, 7 parts by weight of said polyethoxy ethanol, and 2.5 parts by weight of said initiator.
