Claims
- 1. A radio communication system in which a base station apparatus and a mobile station apparatus perform communications therebetween at different transmission rates, while performing closed-loop transmission power control, said system comprising:a base station apparatus that transmits a downlink signal with a slot configuration in which transmission power control data and pilot data are arranged separated from each other in a slot, pilot data of a lowest transmission rate among said different transmission rates have a first location within a slot, transmission power control data of said lowest transmission rate have a second location within said slot, and pilot data and transmission power control data of transmission rates other than said lowest transmission rate are configured in portions of said first and second locations respectively; and a mobile station apparatus that transmits an uplink signal with an offset based on a reception timing of said downlink signal.
- 2. A radio communication system as in claim 1, wherein a delay time of transmission power control on each of said uplink signal and said downlink signal is within one time slot in each of said base station apparatus and said mobile station apparatus.
- 3. A mobile station apparatus for use in a radio communication system according to claim 2, which performs communications at different transmission rates, said mobile station apparatus comprising:a reception section that receives downlink transmission slots, transmitted from a base station apparatus, in which transmission power control data and pilot data are arranged separated from each other; and a transmission section that configures an uplink signal having uplink transmission slots in which pilot data of said lowest transmission rate among said different transmission rates have a first location within an uplink slot, transmission power control data of said lowest transmission rate have a second location within said uplink slot, pilot data and transmission power control data of transmission rates other than said lowest transmission rate are configured in portions of said first and second locations within said uplink slot respectively and that transmits said uplink signal with an offset based on a reception timing of said downlink signal.
- 4. The mobile station apparatus according to claim 3, wherein the mobile station apparatus changes uplink transmission power at the beginning of first pilot data after reception of downlink transmission power control data.
- 5. A base station apparatus for use in a radio communication system according to claim 2, which performs communications at different transmission rates, said base station apparatus comprising:a transmission section that transmits said downlink signal having said slot configuration in which transmission power control data and pilot data are arranged separated from each other and said pilot data and said transmission power control data of transmission rates other than said lowest transmission rate are configured in portions of said first and second locations respectively; and a reception section that receives said uplink signal transmitted from the mobile station apparatus with an offset based on said reception timing of said downlink signal at said mobile station apparatus.
- 6. The base station apparatus according to claim 5, wherein the base station apparatus changes downlink transmission power at the beginning of next pilot data after reception of downlink transmission power control data.
- 7. A mobile station apparatus for use in a radio communication system according to claim 1, which performs communications at different transmission rates, said mobile station apparatus comprising:a reception section that receives downlink transmission slots, transmitted from a base station apparatus, in which transmission power control data and pilot data are arranged separated from each other; and a transmission section that configures an uplink signal having uplink transmission slots in which pilot data of said lowest transmission rate among said different transmission rates have a first location within an uplink slot, transmission power control data of said lowest transmission rate have a second location within said uplink slot, pilot data and transmission power control data of transmission rates other than said lowest transmission rate are configured in portions of said first and second locations within said uplink slot respectively and that transmits said uplink signal with an offset based on a reception timing of said downlink signal.
- 8. The mobile station apparatus according to claim 7, wherein the mobile station apparatus changes uplink transmission power at the beginning of first pilot data after reception of downlink transmission power control data.
- 9. A base station apparatus for use in a radio communication system according to claim 1, which performs communications at different transmission rates, said base station apparatus comprising:a transmission section that transmits said downlink signal having said slot configuration in which transmission power control data and pilot data are arranged separated from each other and said pilot data and said transmission power control data of transmission rates other than said lowest transmission rate are configured in portions of said first and second locations respectively; and a reception section that receives said uplink signal transmitted from the mobile station apparatus with an offset based on said reception timing of said downlink signal at said mobile station apparatus.
- 10. The base station apparatus according to claim 9, wherein the base station apparatus changes downlink transmission power at the beginning of next pilot data after reception of downlink transmission power control data.
- 11. A transmission power control method in a mobile station apparatus for use in a radio communication system in which closed-loop transmission power control is performed between the base station apparatus and the mobile station apparatus, said method comprising:performing communications with the base station apparatus at different transmission rates; receiving downlink transmission slots, transmitted from the base station, in which transmission power control data and pilot data are arranged separated from each other; configuring an uplink signal having transmission slots in which (i) pilot data of a lowest transmission rate among said different transmission rates have a first location within said uplink transmission slots, (ii) and transmission power control data of said lowest transmission rate have a second location within said uplink transmission slots and (iii) pilot data and transmission power control data of transmission rates other than said lowest transmission rate are configured in portions of said first and second locations respectively; and transmitting said uplink signal with an offset based on a reception timing of said downlink signal.
- 12. A transmission power control method in a base station apparatus for use in a radio communication system in which closed-loop transmission power control is performed between a base station apparatus and the mobile station apparatus, said method comprising:performing communications with the mobile station apparatus at different transmission rates; transmitting a downlink signal with a slot configuration in which (i) transmission power control data and pilot data are arranged separated from each other, (ii) pilot data of a lowest transmission rate among said different transmission rates have a first location within said transmission slots, (iii) transmission power control data of said lowest transmission rate have a second location within said transmission slots and (iv) pilot data and transmission power control data of transmission rates other than said lowest transmission rate are configured in portions of said first and second locations respectively; and receiving an uplink transmission slot, transmitted from the mobile station apparatus, with an offset based on a reception timing of said downlink signal at the mobile station apparatus.
