Claims
- 1. A resin magnet which has a coercive force of at least 5.10 KO.sub.e, a residual magnetic flux density of at least 7.35 KG and a maximum energy product of at least 10.30 MGO.sub.e, said resin magnet consisting of a compression molded and heat-treated mixture of a rare earth element/cobalt magnet powder and a resin, said rare-earth element cobalt magnet powder, prior to mixing with said resin, being composed of Sm.sub.1-x Pr.sub.x Co.sub.z, wherein 0.05.ltoreq.x.ltoreq.0.4 and 4.7.ltoreq.z.ltoreq.5.3 and a single phase, the average particle size of the magnet powder being 3 to 10 .mu.m.
- 2. A resin magnet which has a coercive force of at least 4.90 KO.sub.e, a residual magnetic flux density of at least 6.65 KG, and a maximum energy product of at least 11.20 MGO.sub.e, said resin magnet consisting of a compression molded and heat-treated mixture of a rare earth element/cobalt magnet powder and a resin, said rare-earth element cobalt magnet powder, prior to mixing with said resin, being composed of Sm.sub.1-x Pr.sub.x-y Nd.sub.y Co.sub.z, wherein 0.05.ltoreq.x.ltoreq.0.4, 0.01.ltoreq.y.ltoreq.0.39, 0.01.ltoreq.x-y.ltoreq.0.39 and 4.7.ltoreq.z.ltoreq.5.3 and of a single phase, and the average particle size of the magnet powder being 3 to 10 .mu.m.
