The top 14 and the base 16 are rectangular. The top 14 has a pair of side rims 28. The base 16 has a pair of side edges 30. The side edges 30 are longer than the side rims 28. The front 20 has a lower section 32 and an upper section 34. The lower section 32 and the back 18 are in parallel planes, such that the upper section 34 recedes from the lower section 32 at an inflection line 36. A wall 38 is coupled to the housing 12. The wall 38 is positioned in the interior space 26 of the housing 12 defining a compartment 40 within the housing 12. The wall 38 and the back 18 are in parallel planes. The wall 38 extends from the top 14 to the base 16 and from the left side 22 to the right side 24. A motor 42 is coupled to and positioned in the compartment 40. The motor 42 has a shaft 44 with a terminus 46 extending through the wall 38. The terminus 46 may extend through a center 48 of the wall 38. A fan 50 is coupled to the terminus 46. The fan 50 is positioned in the interior space 26 between the wall 38 and the front 20, such that the fan 50 is configured to move air toward the front 20 of the housing 12. The fan 50 comprises of a plurality of blades 52. The plurality of blades may comprise between two and six blades. The plurality of blades may comprise between three and five blades. Preferably, the plurality of blades comprises five blades. A power module 54 is coupled to and positioned in the compartment 40. The power module 54 is operationally coupled to the motor 42. The power module 54 comprises at least one battery 56. A processor 58, operationally coupled to the power module 54 and the motor 42, is coupled to and positioned in the compartment 40. A switch 60 is positioned on the top 14 of the housing 12. The switch 60 is operationally coupled to the processor 58. The switch 60 may be positioned on the top 14 proximate to the back 18 and the right side 24. A divider 62 is coupled to the housing 12. The divider 62 is positioned in the interior space 26 of the housing 12 between the wall 38 and the front 20 defining a chamber 64 within the housing 12. The chamber 64 has a bottom 66. The bottom 66 may be a screen 68. The screen 68 extends from a bottom edge 70 of the divider 62 to the inflection line 36 and from the left side 22 to the right side 24. The chamber 64 has a cover 71, which may be serrated. The cover 71 is positioned in the top 14 proximate to the front 20. The cover 71 has a slit 72 adjacent to a rear edge 74 of the cover 71 and equally distant from the side rims 28. The divider 62 and the upper section 34 of the front 20 are in parallel planes. A tray 76, which is removable from the housing 12 through a complimentary opening 78 in the lower section 32 of the front 20, is positionable beneath the screen 68. The tray 76 has a left panel 79 and a right panel 80. There is a plurality of slots 82 positioned in the left panel 79 and the right panel 80. The plurality of slots 82 may comprise four slots positioned in the left panel 79 and four slots positioned in the right panel 80. An access panel 84 is positioned in the housing 12 proximate to the power module 54. The access panel 84 may be positioned in the left side 22 proximate to the base 16 and the back 18. A plurality of vents 86, which is soffited, is positioned in the right side 24 and the left side 22 proximate to the lower section 32 of the front 20. A plurality of suction cups 90 is coupled to the back 18 and the base 16. The plurality of suction cups 90 may comprise four suction cups coupled to the back 18 and four suction cups coupled to the base 16.
In use, the slit 72 of the cover 71 is configured to allow insertion of a razor into the chamber 64 with the blade end of the razor resting upon the screen 68 and the handle of the razor protruding through the slit 72. The switch 60 is configured to be engaged, signaling the processor 58 to allow power from the power module 54 to the motor 42, which turns the fan 50. The fan 50 pulls air through the plurality of inlets 88, pushing the air through the screen 68, over the blades of the razor, and out the cover 71, effectively drying the blades of the razor.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
