Claims
- 1. A rear suspension, comprising:
a pair of right and left trailing arms arranged substantially along a longitudinal direction of a vehicle and having front ends thereof axially supported by a vehicle body and rear ends thereof supporting wheels; and a torsion beam extending substantially in a lateral direction of the vehicle and having both ends thereof respectively connected to said right and left trailing arms, wherein said trailing arms are bent upward at intermediate positions between front ends and rear ends thereof such that said trailing arms are substantially L-shaped.
- 2. A rear suspension according to claim 1, wherein in proximity of the bent part, respective end portions of said torsion beam are connected to upward inclining areas of said trailing arms inclining toward a front of the vehicle.
- 3. A rear suspension according to claim 2, wherein said torsion beam extends linearly.
- 4. A rear suspension according to claim 1, wherein said torsion beam is opened diagonally downward toward a back of the vehicle.
- 5. A rear suspension according to claim 4, wherein said torsion beam has a substantially U-shaped cross-section.
