Claims
- 1. A system for providing a dynamic rate repartitioning protocol that uses a Z-bit signaling channel, the system comprising:
a bit synchronous PCM voice timeslot activator for activating and deactivating bit synchronous PCM voice timeslots; a multiple voice call handler for enabling the ability to handle multiple substantially simultaneous voice call establishments and clearings; and a refresher for enabling refreshing the status of the bit synchronous PCM timeslots.
- 2. A method for providing a dynamic rate repartitioning protocol that uses a Z-bit signaling channel, the method comprising:
providing a bit synchronous PCM voice timeslot activator for activating and deactivating bit synchronous PCM voice timeslots; providing a multiple voice call handler for enabling the ability to handle multiple substantially simultaneous voice call establishments and clearings; and providing a refresher for enabling refreshing the status of the bit synchronous PCM timeslots.
