FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a recreational board with runners at front and rear end of the bottom of the deck and each runner includes two rollers so as to move on different types of surfaces.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
A conventional recreational board such as skateboards includes a deck with two sets of truck connected to the front and rear ends of the bottom of the deck. Each set of the truck includes two wheels which are designed to roll on hard surfaces such as concrete surface. The wheels are small in width so that they are easily merged into mud, packed snow, or sand. Besides, even a higher bump without smooth surface could tangle the skateboard. Some snow boards include two skis or runners on their bottom, the skis obviously restrict the snow boards to be used only on snow surface. U.S. Pat. No. 4,165,091 discloses two runners on the bottom of the deck, however, it is designed to be used on hard ice surface. Some boards are quipped with tracks which are complicated in structure and costly.
The present invention intends to provide a recreational board that includes at least one sets of runners and each runner include at least one rollers connected to a frame which has uplift front and rear ends so that the runners can be used on soft surface such as on snow surface or hard surface such as on concrete surface.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a recreational board which comprises a deck having at least one runner connected to a front end a rear end of an underside of the deck, and each runner has a frame with holes defined therethrough. Rollers are rotatably and respectively engaged with the holes of the frame.
The present invention will become more obvious from the following description when taken in connection with the accompanying drawings which show, for purposes of illustration only, a preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
Referring to FIGS. 1 to 8, the recreational board of the present invention comprises a deck 10 and two adjustable devices 40 (FIG. 6) are fixed to a front end a rear end of an underside of the deck 10 by bolts or rivets, and two connection units 20 are connected to the two adjustable devices 40. Two runners 30 are respectively connected to the connection units 20 and each runner 30 has a frame 31 with four holes defined therethrough and two first rollers 33 and two second rollers 33A are respectively rotatably engaged with the holes of the two frames 31. The two second rollers 33A are located behind the first rollers 33 and the axis of each of the second rollers 33A is located higher than an axis of the first roller 33. Each frame 30 is made by resilient material and includes a flat bottom 310 which allows the runners 30 to slide on hard or soft surfaces. The flat bottom 310 is located between the first roller 33 and the second roller 33A. Each frame 31 includes a tilt upward front end and a tilt upward rear end, such that when moving along the surface, the runners 30 are able to move over bumps or stack snow as shown in FIG. 8.
As shown in FIG. 5, two brackets 35 are used to position the two pairs of the first and second rollers 33, 33A, wherein each bracket 35 is mounted to two respective ends of the first and second rollers 33, 33A and two axles 34 respectively extend through the openings 351 in the brackets 35, two bearings 331, the first and second rollers 33, 33A, two spacers 37, two holes 361 in a mediate bracket 36 and another first and second rollers 33, 33A and the other bracket 35. Two screws 341 are threadedly connected to two respective threaded holes 340 defined in two respective ends of the axles 34. Each opening 351 has a cap 38 snapped therewith and each cap 38 includes an expandable insertion 380 which is engaged with the opening 351 corresponding thereto easily. The two brackets 35 each have two passages 350 so that screws 39 extend through the passages 350 and connected to the frame 31 as shown in FIG. 8. The two brackets 35 are also connected to the flat bottom 310 of the frame 31 by extending screws 39 through holes 313 defined in the flat bottom 310 of the frame 31 and holes 352 defined in the bracket 35. An extension portion 350 extends from each of the two brackets 35 so as to be connected to the middle portion of the flat bottom 310. The mediate bracket 36 further includes passages 360 and holes 362 to be connected to the frame 31 by the similar way that the brackets 35 are connected to the frame 31.
As shown in FIG. 4, each frame 31 includes a connection portion 312 defined in a top of each tilt front and rear ends and the two connection units 20 each include a first connection member 11 and a second connection part 21 which is connected to the first connection member 11 by a rod 22. A damper member 23 is located between the first and second connection members 11, 21 so as to provide cushion feature. The second connection part 21 includes a flange 211 with holes 212 defined therethrough and bolts 32 extend through the holes 212 and connected to the connection portion 312 of the frame 31. The first connection part 11 includes a tubular portion 110 for receiving the rod 22 and the second connection part 21 is engaged with a recess 111 defined in an underside of the first connection part 11.
Referring to FIG. 6, the two adjustable devices 40 each include a connection plate 50 fixed on the first connection part 11 of the connection unit 20 corresponding thereto and a base piece 41 is fixed to the deck 10. Bolts extend through holes 112 in the first connection part 11, holes 51 in the connection plate 50 and holes 410 in the base piece 40 so as to fix the base piece 40 to the deck 10. The base piece 41 includes two curve ridges 42 and each curve ridge 42 has a plurality of positioning holes 420. The connection plate 50 has two lugs 52 on each of two sides thereof and pins 32 extend through apertures 520 defined in the lugs 52 and the positioning holes 420 aligned with the apertures 520. As shown in FIG. 7, the distance between the two runners 30 can be adjusted by positioning the connection plate 50 with different positioning holes 420. As shown in FIG. 3, the two runners 30 are located close to each other and the connection plates 50 can also be positioned to a position shown by solid lines in FIG. 7. At the position in FIG. 7, the distance between the two runners 30 is larger than that in FIG. 3.
