Claims
- 1. A slider device for use closing and opening an interlocking closure member; said slider device comprising:
(a) a top wall; said top wall having first and second opposite ends; (b) first and second sidewalls depending from said top wall; (c) an engagement structure depending from and integral with said top wall; said engagement structure having a varying profile from said first end to said second end of said slider device; said engagement structure including:
(i) a first protrusion depending from and integral with said first end of said top wall; said first protrusion depending from said top wall substantially near the center of said top wall; and (ii) a second protrusion depending from and integral with said second end of said top wall; said second protrusion depending from said top wall substantially near one of said sidewalls.
- 2. The slider device according to claim 1, wherein:
(a) said first protrusion includes a first inclined sidewall, a second inclined sidewall, and a rounded end portion joining said first and second inclined sides wall; said rounded end portion being constructed and arranged to slidably engage a first closure profile of said interlocking closure members.
- 3. The slider device according to claim 1, wherein:
(a) said second protrusion includes a first inclined sidewall, a second inclined sidewall, and a rounded end portion joining said first and second inclined sides wall; said rounded end portion being constructed and arranged to slidably engage a first closure profile of said interlocking closure members.
- 4. A slider device for closing and opening interlocking closure members; said slider device comprising:
(a) a top wall; (b) a first sidewall depending from said top wall; said first sidewall having first and second opposite ends and defining a first slide channel; said first slide channel having a first contoured inner surface; said first slide channel extending from said first end to said second end of said first sidewall; said first contoured inner surface includes:
(i) a first protrusion located substantially near said first end of said first sidewall; said first protrusion extends into said first slide channel from said top wall; (c) a second sidewall depending from said top wall; said second sidewall having first and second opposite ends and defining a second slide channel; said second slide channel having a second contoured inner surface; said second slide channel extending from said first end to said second end of said second sidewall; said second contoured inner surface includes:
(i) a second protrusion located substantially near said first end of said second sidewall; said second protrusion extends downwardly into said second slide channel from said top wall; and (d) said first and second sidewalls being tapered from a first end of said slider device to a second end of said slider device.
- 5. The slider device of claim 4, wherein:
(a) said first sidewall includes a first hook construction extending from said first sidewall; and (b) said second sidewall includes a second hook construction extending from said second sidewall.
