Claims
- 1. A resin ceramic composition comprising:a resin; and an amount of ceramic filler effective for providing the composition with a magnetic field of at least about 1 gauss. wherein the ceramic filler is selected from the group consisting of strontium ferrite, barium ferrite and mixtures thereof.
- 2. A resin ceramic composition according to claim 1 wherein the resin is a thermoplastic resin.
- 3. A resin ceramic composition according to claim 1 wherein the resin is a thermoset resin.
- 4. A resin ceramic composition according to claim 1 wherein the resin is an epoxy.
- 5. A resin ceramic composition according to claim 1 wherein the resin is a polyester.
- 6. A resin ceramic composition according to claim 1 wherein the resin is a polypropylene.
- 7. A resin ceramic composition according to claim 1 wherein the resin is a polyethylene.
- 8. A resin ceramic composition according to claim 1 wherein the resin is a polybutylene.
- 9. A resin ceramic composition according to claim 1 wherein the resin is a polycarbonate.
- 10. A resin ceramic composition according to claim 1 wherein the resin is a styrene.
- 11. A resin ceramic composition according to claim 1 wherein the resin is a sulfone based resin.
- 12. A resin ceramic composition according to claim 1 wherein the resin is a polyamide-imide.
- 13. An epoxy ceramic composition comprising:an epoxy resin; a hardener; and an amount of ceramic filler effective for providing the composition with a magnetic field of at least about 1 gauss, wherein the ceramic filler has a particle size of about 1.5 microns or less.
- 14. An epoxy ceramic composition according to claim 13 wherein the ceramic filler is selected from the group consisting of strontium ferrite, barium ferrite, and mixtures thereof.
