Claims
- 1. Resinous particles comprising:
- a) a polymerized polymeric monomer (A) comprising 50 to 100% by weight of (meth)acryl monomer; and
- b) compound (B) in an amount of 20 to 0.0001% by weight based on the amount of polymeric monomer (A), said compound (B) being substantially in soluble in water and sparingly soluble in said polymeric monomer (A), said compound (B) having at least two different structural units selected from the group consisting of --SH, --S--S--, --COOH, --NO.sub.2, and --OH,
- said resinous particles having a ratio of decomposition, after 40 minutes standing at 270.degree. C., of not more than 60% by weight.
- 2. Resinous particles according to claim 1, wherein the average particle diameter thereof is in the range of 0.1 to 500 .mu.m.
- 3. Resinous particles according to claim 1 or claim 2, wherein the refractive index thereof is in the range of 1.45 to 1.55.
- 4. Resinous particles according to claim 1 or claim 2, which incorporates therein a coloring agent.
- 5. Resinous particles according to claim 1 or claim 2, which incorporates therein an ultraviolet absorbent.
- 6. Resinous particles according to claim 1 or claim 2, which incorporates therein an antistatic agent.
- 7. The resinous particles according to claim 1, wherein said compound (B) is selected from the group consisting of dinitrobenzoic acid, thiosalicylic acid, nitrobenzoic acid, dithiosalicylic acid and nitrobenzyl alcohol.
- 8. The resinous particles according to claim 1, wherein said resinous particles is produced by subjecting said polymeric monomer (A) to aqueous suspension polymerization in the presence of said compound (B).
- 9. The resinous particles according to claim 1, wherein said resinous particles is produced by subjecting said polymeric monomer (A) to aqueous suspension polymerization in the presence of said compound (B) at a polymerization temperature of from 10.degree. to 90.degree. C. in the presence of 0.01 to 29% by weight of a dispersion stabilizer based on the amount of polymeric monomer (A) in said polymerization system.
- 10. Resinous particles comprising:
- a) a polymeric monomer (A) comprising 50 to 100% by weight of (meth)acryl monomer; and
- b) compound (B) in an amount of 20 to 0.0001% by weight based on the amount of polymeric monomer (A), said compound (B) being substantially insoluble in water and sparingly soluble in said polymeric monomer (A), said compound (B) having at least two different kinds of structural unit selected from the group consisting of --SH, --S--S--, --COOH, --NO.sub.2, and --OH,
- said resinous particles being produced by subjecting said polymeric monomer (A) to aqueous suspension polymerization in the presence of said compound (B) at a polymerization temperature of from 10.degree. to 90.degree. C. in the presence of 0.01 to 29% by weight of a dispersion stabilizer based on the amount of polymeric monomer (A) in said polymerization system,
- said resinous particles having a particle diameter distribution of 0.1 to 500 .mu.m and a ratio of decomposition, after 40 minutes' standing at 270.degree. C., of not more than 60% by weight.
- 11. Resinous particles comprising:
- a) a polymerized polymeric monomer (A) comprising 50 to 100% by weight of (meth)acryl monomer; and
- b) compound (B) in an amount of 20 to 0.0001% by weight based on the amount of polymeric monomer (A), said compound (B) is selected from the group consisting of dinitrobenzoic acid, thiosalicylic acid, nitrobenzoic acid, dithiosalicylic acid and nitrobenzyl alcohol,
- said resinous particles having a ratio of decomposition, after 40 minutes standing at 270.degree. C., of not more than 60% by weight.
