Claims
- 1. A process for preparing a thermosetting resol containing boron atoms, tungsten atoms, and zirconium atoms which comprises reacting together a thermosetting resol containing boron atoms obtained by reacting a resol with boric acid, a thermosetting resol containing tungsten atoms obtained by reacting a resol with a tungsten carbonyl/pyrrolidine reaction product and a thermosetting resol containing zirconium atoms obtained by reacting a resol with zirconyl acetate.
- 2. A process for preparing a thermosetting resol containing boron atoms and zirconium atoms which comprises reacting together a thermosetting resol containing boron atoms obtained by reacting a resol with boric acid and a thermosetting resol containing zirconium atoms obtained by reacting a resol with zirconyl acetate.
- 3. A process for preparing a thermosetting resol containing tungsten atoms and zirconium atoms which comprises reacting together a thermosetting resol containing tungsten atoms obtained by reacting a resol with a tungsten carbonyl/pyrrolidine reaction product and a thermosetting resol containing zirconium atoms obtained by reacting a resol with zirconyl acetate.
- 4. A thermosetting resol obtained by the process of claim 1.
- 5. A thermosetting resol obtained by the process of claim 2.
- 6. A thermosetting resol obtained by the process of claim 3.
- 7. A process for preparing a thermosetting resol containing zirconium atoms which comprises reacting a thermosetting resol with zirconyl acetate.
- 8. A thermosetting resol obtained by the process of claim 7.
