Claims
- 1. A structure of a retaining piece which is interposed between each two adjacent balls in a row, the structure comprising concave surfaces at both side surfaces of said retaining piece in an axial direction of said row, each of said concave surface being in contact with a spherical surface of an adjacent ball, said concave surface being configured such that as a pressing force acting thereon increases, each said concave surfaces increases a contact area thereof with said adjacent ball.
- 2. A structure of a retaining piece which is interposed between each two adjacent balls in a row, the structure comprising concave surfaces at both side surfaces of said retaining piece in an axial direction of said row, each of said concave surfaces being in contact with a spherical surface of an adjacent ball, wherein each of said concave surfaces is configured such that as at least one of a wearing or yielding of the contact portion of said concave surface with the ball progress, said concave surface increases a contact area thereof with said adjacent ball.
- 3. A linear motion device comprising the retaining piece according to claim 1.
- 4. A linear motion device comprising the retaining piece according to claim 2.
