Claims
- 1. An apparatus for securing a roof and gable wall of a building comprising:
a. a unitary body having two generally flat and rectangular links; b. said links are joined together by quarter sections of a circle forming arches; c. said arches are joined to said rectangular links on adjacent short sides; d. said arches are joined to said short sides by right angles forming each rectangular link perpendicular to, and apart from each other.
- 2. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said links having a predetermined area and a plurality of nail holes as a means for attachment to an intersecting roof and gable wall on a building.
- 3. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said opposite arches having a predetermined area and a predetermined inner radius as a means for having said arches and said links avoid molding and wires, where the roof and gable wall meet on a building.
- 4. The apparatus of claim 1 wherein said arches having a predetermined thickness and a predetermined outer radius as a means for forming an arch shaped gusset between said rectangular links.
- 5. The apparatus of claim 4 wherein said rectangular links having attaching means to an intersecting gable and roof, and said arches forming a strong gusset shape between said rectangular links, as a means for preventing detachment of said roof from said gable wall during strong winds and seismic events.
