Description
FIELD OF THE INVENTION

The present disclosure generally relates to furniture covers, and more particularly to a reusable furniture cover for moving or storing a furniture item.

BACKGROUND

In general, most of the people are engaged in moving household items when moving from one location to another location. There is genuine physical effort in moving furniture from one home and placing it into another home. Many obstacles are encountered while moving the household items, such as stairs, doorways, and hallways, which require careful maneuvering of furniture in order to pass by these obstacles. This becomes especially difficult with large items, sofas, tables, and beds. Owners often cover the furniture with removable covers to protect the furniture from hitting these obstacles during the movement. Furthermore, the furniture is also covered to protect these items from rain, wind, water, dust, debris, or other adverse elements. Conventional furniture covers, however, do not adequately stay on the furniture. Many conventional furniture covers rely on gravity to hold the covers in place. Other furniture covers use elastic bands at their base to snugly engage the furniture. Other furniture covers use line or other constriction devices to decrease the size of the opening of the furniture cover to better fit the furniture. These prior art designs, however, can be unsightly and difficult to install or remove. Also, there are outdoor storage covers, but they are built with heavy duty fabric. In addition, it just drapes over the furniture and does not allow for a tight fit or viewing of the item below it. In addition to the outdoor covers, there are large plastic bags that are used by various individuals to cover the furniture, but they are a onetime use to cover couches for short term protection. Accordingly, there is a need for an improved furniture cover that maintains a positive aesthetic appearance while increasing the ease and usability of the cover, allowing the cover to securely connect to the furniture, and ensuring that the cover will remain in position in all kinds of environments and conditions.

SUMMARY

It will be understood that this disclosure is not limited to the particular systems and apparatus described herein, as there can be multiple possible embodiments of the present disclosure which are not expressly illustrated in the present disclosure. It is also to be understood that the terminology used in the description is for the purpose of describing the particular versions or embodiments only and is not intended to limit the scope of the present disclosure.

An objective of the present invention is to provide a reusable furniture cover for moving or storing a furniture item. The reusable furniture cover disclosed herein eliminate plastic waste while cutting moving time down dramatically. Reusable furniture covers allow the ability for the product texture and color to be visible through a viewing window. In addition, straps and pull cords keep the covers on tight. Large item covers also have a heavy drag resistant end to allow large items like couches to be stored upon their side. The reusable furniture covers disclosed herein are easy to use with all types of furniture items and an individual will take very less time to complete the entire covering setup. For example, a set of 8 dining chairs can be covered within 2 minutes, compared to 10+ minutes using traditional methods of plastic wrapping, or blanket wrapping.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a reusable furniture cover that includes various components such as polyester fabric, buckle straps, elastic cord, elastic cord slide or clamp, and clear plastic fabric. The buckle straps are used to allow the material to be cinched up for a tight fit around areas of a furniture item so that there is a tight fit around the item. The elastic cord and slide clamps are used around the bottom of bags to provide a tight fit around a base of the furniture item to ensure that the fabric is completely protected from any sort of damage or staining or dirt. The clear plastic fabric allows any individual to see the covered items.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide reusable polyester fabric furniture covers. The covers allow the ability for the product texture and color be visible through a clear viewing window. The elastic cord and slide clamps are sewn into the bottom of the covers to provide a tight fit to ensure that the fabric is completely protected from any sort of damage or staining or dirt and also providing water repellant features. The buckle Straps are used to allow the material to be cinched up for a tight fit around areas of a chair or couch so that there is a tight fit around the item. Large item covers also have a heavy drag resistant end, to allow large items like couches to be stored upon their side. The cover has a heavy-duty polyester canvas panel sewn into the non-adjustable end. A post card size pocket is fitted to the back or the right side of the panel of the unit that can be used for product details.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a reusable furniture cover to be used as a bed headboard cover for covering a bed headboard. Another objective of the present invention is to provide a reusable furniture cover to be used as a sofa cover for covering a sofa. Another objective of the present invention is to provide a reusable furniture cover to be used as a chair cover for covering a chair such as slipper or accent chair. Another objective of the present invention is to provide a reusable furniture cover to be used as a dining chair cover for covering a dining chair.

These and other features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the detailed description below, in light of the accompanying drawings.
