Claims
- 1. A clutch lock comprising a cruciate member of spring sheet metal with one pair of arms at right angle to another pair of arms and with a pair of jaws within the central region of said member raised in the same direction from said member so as to project on one side of said member, said jaws being disposed to oppose one another on opposite sides of a plane which is normal to the axis of said one pair of arms for receiving and gripping a pin when one is introduced therebetween, and said jaws are constructed such that manipulation of said pairs of arms respectively in opposite directions in one direction will cause separation of said jaws to release any pin gripped therebetween.
- 2. A clutch lock according to claim 1, wherein said arms of said cruciate member are reinforced with ribs located to prevent significant flexure of said arms other than adjacent said jaws such that any flexing force applied to said arms is communicated to said jaws.
- 3. A clutch lock according to claim 1, wherein said cruciate member as a whole is curved cylindrically in the direction of the axis of said one pair of arms with the concavity facing said one side of said member.
