Description
RELATED APPLICATIONS

This application claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202322054289.2, filed Aug. 1, 2023.

The above applications and all patents, patent applications, articles, books, specifications, other publications, documents, and things referenced herein are hereby incorporated herein in their entirety for all purposes. To the extent of any inconsistency or conflict in the definition or use of a term between any of the incorporated publications, documents, or things and the text of the present document, the definition or use of the term in the present document shall prevail.

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates to a water balloon toy and pertains to the technical field of toys.

BACKGROUND

Water balloon toys are spherical objects filled with water, specifically designed as entertaining and refreshing toys for hot summers. Throwing these toys at each other not only provides an enjoyable game but also offers a cooling effect when the water-filled ball bursts and splashes water. Unfortunately, the water balloon toys currently available in the market are made by filling regular balloons with water, making them disposable and non-reusable. These toys tend to burst upon impact with hard surfaces such as the ground, walls, or even human bodies. As a result, this leads to increased costs for water balloon games.

SUMMARY

An objective of one embodiment of the present invention is to provide a reusable water balloon toy, which addresses the problem in the prior art, namely, the issue of existing water balloon toys being disposable and non-reusable.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a reusable water balloon toy that is easy to use and refill.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a more efficient system for manufacturing water balloon toys.

The objective of the present invention can be achieved by the following technical solution. A reusable water balloon toy according to an embodiment of the present invention, comprises: a shell with a top; a water injection port at the top of the shell; and a sealing cover capable of snap-fitting onto the top of the shell.

Further, a plurality of notches are provided circumferentially around the water injection port. The notches assist in and expedite the manufacturing process. With the notches, fewer defective toys will be created during extraction. This helps reduce waste byproducts and lowers the cost of manufacturing.

Further, the shell comprises a guiding section, a sealing section, and a hemispheric body, which are fixedly interconnected in sequence from top to bottom, forming an integral structure.

Further, the guiding section has a convex arc-shaped outer surface.

Further, the sealing section has a vertical planar outer surface.

Further, the reusable water balloon toy further comprises a connecting strap fixedly connected at one end to the shell and at the other end to the sealing cover.

Further, the connecting strap is an elongated flexible strap made of silicone rubber.

Further, both the shell and the sealing cover are made of silicone rubber.

Further, the sealing cover and the shell form a spherical body by snap-fitting the sealing cover onto the water injection port at the top of the shell.

Further, the sealing cover and the shell form a capsule-shaped body by snap-fitting the sealing cover onto the water injection port at the top of the shell.

Compared to the prior art, the present reusable water balloon toy has the following advantages:

    • 1. Compared to traditional disposable water balloon toys, the present reusable water balloon toy is reusable, sturdy, and durable, with a long service life, thereby reducing economic costs of water balloon games;
    • 2. The present reusable water balloon toy can be connected directly to a water hose or faucet, or submerged underwater for easy filling under natural water pressure. This eliminates the need for additional tools or accessories, making the water filling process quick and hassle-free. In contrast, traditional disposable water balloon toys require a dedicated part for water filling;
    • 3. The present reusable water balloon toy showcases a design with two easily separable halves. After filling the toy with water, the sealing cover can be snap-fitted onto the shell, securely joining the two halves and creating a sealed spherical body. When thrown and impacted with a hard object, the spherical body bursts open, resulting in a thrilling release of water. This interactive feature adds an element of fun and excitement to the present reusable water balloon toy;
    • 4. The present reusable water balloon toy features a shell that incorporates two distinct sections: a sealing section with a vertical planar outer surface, practically making the sealing section cylindrical and ensuring an effective seal for the toy; and a guiding section with a convex arc-shaped outer surface, facilitating easy water filling by providing convenient guidance. This thoughtful design ensures both the functionality and ease of use of the water balloon toy.

The present reusable water balloon toy provides a lengthened cylindrical surface and a lengthened circular ridge, which helps the user close the two hemispheres securely, eliminating the need for additional tools or accessories.
