Claims
- 1. A process for hydroformylating olefins having from 2 to 20 carbon atoms to their corresponding aldehydes which comprises carrying out the reaction at a temperature of from 20.degree. C. to 200.degree. C. and at a pressure of from 0.05 to 700 bar in the presence of a rhodium hydroformylation catalyst containing bisphosphite ligands of the formula I ##STR10## where -x- is a divalent bisarylene radical or R.sup.1,
- T is a divalent arylene or bisarylene radical, and
- R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are identical or different and are hydrocarbyl substituted or unsubstituted alkylene or ortho-arylene, the molar ratio of H.sub.2 :CO in the reaction being from 1:10 to 100:1.
