Claims
- 1. A compound having an aromatic heterocyclic molecular core that resembles an adenine moiety in size and shape, said compound inhibiting ricin or Shiga toxin;wherein said compound is 2-amino-6-methyl-3,7-dihydro-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimindin-4-one, 4-[(2-amino-4-oxo-4,7-dihydro-3H-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-5ylmethyl)-amino]benzoic acid or 2-amino-5-{[4-(4-amino-benzyl)-phenylamino]-methyl}-3,7-dihydro-pyrrolo[2,3-d]pyrimidin-4-one.
