The present device relates to a rod for perming eyelashes.
Eyelashes grow on thin eyelids in two to three rows having a thickness of about 1 mm. Because the eyelashes distinctly define outlines of eyes, the eyelashes look even more beautiful when lengths of the eyelashes are long or the number of eyelashes is large so that the eyelashes look thick.
It is effective to curl the eyelashes upward to make the eyes appear larger at the time of applying makeup. To this end, an eyelash curler is used to curl the eyelashes upward, or curled artificial eyelashes are attached.
Because the eyelash curler temporarily curls the eyelashes upward, the eyelashes return to the original state over time, which causes a user to inconveniently have to curl the eyelashes again several times a day. The artificial eyelashes are comparatively expensive and fall out over time.
Therefore, the perming process of permanently curling hair has been applied to eyelashes.
A single type of curled shape may be made in accordance with a size of a cylindrical shape of the rod portion 14.
An object of the present device is to provide a rod for perming eyelashes, which is capable of grouping a plurality of eyelashes side by side, curling the plurality of eyelashes at equal intervals, and selecting an angle of curls of eyelashes.
In order to achieve the above-mentioned object, the present device provides a rod for perming eyelashes, the rod including: a base formed in a plate shape having a length corresponding to a width of an eye, and a width corresponding to a length of an eyelash, the base having an upper surface formed curvedly and convexly; and a plurality of guide convex portions formed in a comb pattern perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of the base and disposed in parallel on the upper surface of the base so as to be spaced apart from one another at preset intervals, in which the base is formed so that a cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction has a semi-elliptical shape.
The base may be formed such that a cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction has a semi-elliptical shape, and one side horizontal surface and the other side horizontal surface may have different curvatures.
A bottom surface of the base may be flat so as to have a plate shape, the bottom surface of the base may be formed concavely formed from an edge toward a center thereof, and the bottom surface of the base may be formed concavely so that a depth of a most concave region is 1 mm or less.
Two opposite ends of the guide convex portion may be formed to converge in an awl shape.
An interval between the ends of the adjacent guide convex portions may be twice an interval between regions of the adjacent guide convex portions that are not the ends of the adjacent guide convex portions.
The embodiment of the present device configured as described above may provide the rod for perming eyelashes, in which the two types of curled shapes may be selected by the single rod, the eyelashes, which are adjacent to one another at preset intervals, are grouped, and the ends of the grouped eyelashes are collected and curled, such that the eyelashes may be shown more clearly.
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present device will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The embodiments of the present device may be modified in various different forms, and the scope of the present device is not limited to the embodiments to be described below.
In addition, unless explicitly described to the contrary throughout the specification, the word “comprise/include” and variations such as “comprises/includes” or “comprising/including” will be understood to imply the inclusion of stated elements, not the exclusion of any other elements.
As illustrated, the rod for perming eyelashes according to the embodiment of the present device includes a plate-shaped base 110 having a length corresponding to a length of an eye, and a plurality of guide convex portions 120 formed on an upper surface of the base 110. The base 110 and the guide convex portion 120 may be made of silicone and integrated.
The upper surface of the base 110 is formed in a rounded arc shape, and a bottom surface 111 of the base 110 is formed to be flat. As illustrated in
In addition, the base 110 is rounded so that a thickness thereof decreases toward two opposite ends based on a longitudinal direction. The bottom surface 111 of the base 110 is flat so as to have a plate shape. The bottom surface 111 of the base 110 is formed concavely toward a center and has a size of 1 mm or less. The bottom surface 111 is seated on the eyelid when the rod is used. A material, such as paste, having viscosity is applied onto the bottom surface 111, and the bottom surface 111 is seated on the eyelid. An edge of the bottom surface 111 of the base protrudes thinly, and the bottom surface 111 of the base is formed concavely from the edge toward the center so that a depth of a most concave region is 1 mm or less. In case that the bottom surface is formed concavely, suction power may be generated by a vacuum when the bottom surface is attached to the eyelid. The base 110 may be fixed onto the eyelid without a separate bonding agent.
The plurality of guide convex portions 120 is formed in parallel at intervals of 1 mm and each provided in a rod shape perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. An end 121 of the guide convex portion 120 is formed to converge in an awl shape. Because the end 121 of the guide convex portion 120 converges in an awl shape, a main region 122 is formed in a rod shape having a thickness of 1 mm. When the plurality of guide convex portions 120 is disposed in parallel so as to be spaced apart from one another so that an interval w2 between the main regions 122 is 1 mm, an interval w1 between the ends 121 is at least 2 mm. When the eyelashes, onto which a perm fluid is applied, are disposed in grooves between the guide convex portions 120, the plurality of eyelashes is inserted into one groove having the interval of w1. Because the interval decreases toward side w2, the plurality of adjacent eyelashes is permed so that the ends of the plurality of adjacent eyelashes are collected. As the ends of the plurality of adjacent eyelashes are collected, the plurality of adjacent eyelashes is collected when the eyelashes are permed, as shown in the photograph at the lower side in
