Claims
- 1. Rotary cathode X-ray tube equipment comprising:
- a ring-shaped hollow vacuum vessel;
- a ring-shaped anode target fixed within said vacuum vessel;
- a ring-shaped rotary member rotatably disposed in an opposed relation to said anode target within said vacuum vessel;
- at least one cathode portion attached to said rotary member on the side opposed to said anode target, said cathode portion including at least one filament;
- an X-ray radiation window for passing the X-ray generated at the anode target therethrough, said X-ray radiation window being mounted to an inner ring of said vacuum vessel;
- an electromagnet fixed to said vacuum vessel, said electromagnet comprising a yoke portion, a part of which is arranged in said vacuum vessel and a coil portion which is arranged outside of said vacuum vessel; and
- a power generating coil fixed to said rotary member to rotate together therewith and thereby pass across the magnetic field created by said electromagnet for generating electric power to be supplied to said at least one filament.
- 2. Rotary cathode X-ray tube equipment comprising:
- a ring-shaped hollow vacuum vessel;
- a ring-shaped anode target fixed within said vacuum vessel;
- a ring-shaped rotary member rotatably disposed in an opposed relation to said anode target within said vacuum vessel;
- at least one cathode portion attached to said rotary member on the side opposed to said anode target, said cathode portion including at least one filament;
- an X-ray radiation window for passing the X-ray generated at the anode target therethrough, said X-ray radiation window being mounted to an inner ring of said vacuum vessel;
- an electromagnet fixed to said vacuum vessel;
- a power generating coil fixed to said rotary member to rotate together therewith and thereby pass across the magnetic field created by said electromagnet for generating electric power to be supplied to said at least one filament; and
- a magnetic field detector which is fixed to said vacuum vessel and which detects a magnetic field created in said power generating coil on the basis of an electric current flowing therethrough.
- 3. Rotary cathode X-ray tube equipment, comprising:
- a ring-shaped hollow vacuum vessel;
- a ring-shaped anode target fixed within said vacuum vessel;
- a ring-shaped rotary member rotatably disposed in an opposed relation to said anode target within said vacuum vessel;
- at least one cathode portion attached to said rotary member on the side opposed to said anode target, said cathode portion including at least one filament;
- an X-ray radiation window for passing the X-ray generated at the anode target therethrough, said X-ray radiation window being mounted to an inner ring of said vacuum vessel;
- an electromagnet fixed to said vacuum vessel;
- a power generating coil fixed to said rotary member to rotate together therewith and thereby pass across the magnetic field created by said electromagnet for generating electric power to be supplied to said at least one filament; and
- a magnetic levitation mechanism having a magnet for magnetic levitation and wherein a common magnet is used for both said electromagnet and said magnet for magnetic levitation.
- 4. Rotary cathode X-ray tube equipment according to claim 3, wherein said electromagnet comprises a yoke portion and only said yoke portion is arranged in said vacuum vessel.
- 5. Rotary cathode X-ray tube equipment according to claim 3, wherein space within said vacuum vessel is divided into two parts by said rotary member, said anode target and said cathode portion are disposed in one of said two parts, and said power conducting portion and said filament current supply means are disposed in the other of said two parts.
