Claims
- 1. A wireless router, comprising:
an amplifier; a processor coupled to the amplifier; a power connection coupled to the amplifier; and a transceiver bank coupled to both the amplifier and the processor.
- 2. The wireless router of claim 1 further comprising wireless communication software stored in a memory, the memory being coupled to the processor.
- 3. The router of claim 1 further comprising a memory coupled to the processor.
- 4. The router of claim 1 further comprising an input/output port coupled to the processor.
- 5. The router of claim 1 further comprising an internal antenna coupled to the transceiver bank.
- 6. The router of claim 1 wherein the processor stores an algorithm that enables a Bluetooth protocol.
- 7. The router of claim 1 wherein the processor stores an algorithm that enables a Home RF protocol.
- 8. The router of claim 1 wherein the processor stores an algorithm that enables an IEEE 802.11 protocol.
- 9. The router of claim 1 wherein the transceiver bank is enabled to support a plurality of wireless protocols.
- 10. The router of claim 1 wherein the processor stores algorithms that enable a plurality of wireless protocols.
- 11. The router of claim 1 wherein the transceiver bank supports a plurality of wireless protocols.
- 12. The router of claim 1 wherein the transceiver bank comprises at least one transceiver.
- 13. The router of claim 1 wherein the transceiver bank maintains software capable of implementing a wireless protocol.
- 14. A method of routing wireless information, comprising:
receiving a packet having a signal strength; amplifying the signal strength to a second signal strength; and transmitting the packet at the second signal strength.
- 15. The method of claim 16 wherein the packet is routed via a Bluetooth protocol.
- 16. The method of claim 16 wherein the packet is routed via a Home RF protocol.
- 17. The method of claim 16 wherein the packet is routed via an IEEE 802.11 protocol.
- 18. The method of claim 16 wherein the packet is routed via a plurality of wireless protocols.
- 19. The method of claim 16 wherein the packet is received via a first protocol and the packet is transmitted via a second protocol.
