Claims
- 1. A rug clip for use in a rug display system comprising:
a gripping member having oppositely disposed gripping elements; a biasing member having a first and second top leg; and said biasing member mounted over at least a portion of said gripping member such that one of said first and second top legs is each biased toward a different one of said oppositely disposed gripping elements.
- 2. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 1, wherein a distal end of said gripping member comprises said gripping elements.
- 3. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 1, wherein said gripping elements comprise a plurality of teeth angled toward each of said top legs forming an acute angle between said teeth and said gripping member.
- 4. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 1, wherein a proximal end of said gripping member comprises at least one attached flange.
- 5. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 1, wherein said gripping member comprises two bottom legs secured to one another.
- 6. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 1, wherein said biasing member is secured to a frame.
- 7. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 1, wherein said gripping member is secured to a frame.
- 8. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 1, wherein said biasing member further comprises a connecting member between said first and second top legs.
- 9. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 8, wherein said biasing member is provided as a single integral piece.
- 10. A rug clip for use in a rug display system comprising:
a gripping member having oppositely disposed gripping elements; a biasing member having a first top leg, second top leg and a connecting member between said first and second top legs; said biasing member mounted over at least a portion of said gripping member such that one of said first and second top legs is each biased toward a different one of said oppositely disposed gripping elements.
- 11. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 10, wherein a distal end of said gripping member comprises said gripping elements.
- 12. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 10, wherein said gripping elements comprise a plurality of teeth angled toward each of said top legs forming an acute angle between said teeth and said gripping member.
- 13. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 10, wherein a proximal end of said gripping member comprises at least one attached flange.
- 14. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 10, wherein said gripping member comprises two bottom legs secured to one another.
- 15. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 10, wherein said biasing member is secured to a frame.
- 16. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 10, wherein said gripping member is secured to a frame.
- 17. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 10, wherein said biasing member is provided as a single integral piece.
- 18. A rug clip for use in a rug display system comprising:
a first top leg, a first bottom leg, and a connecting member, wherein said first top leg is biased toward said first bottom leg.
- 19. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 18, further comprising a second bottom leg secured to said first bottom leg.
- 20. The rug clip for use in a rug display system as in claim 18, further comprising a second top leg associated with said first top leg, wherein said second top leg is biased toward said first bottom leg.
