The present invention is directed to a rustic end table comprising a) a first plurality of hewn wooden shelves, each of the shelves having a second plurality of ‘2n’ flat lateral edges where n≥3; b) a third plurality of hewn wooden legs, the third plurality equal to ‘n’, the third plurality of hewn wooden legs being fastened to alternating ones of the second plurality of flat edges of the first plurality of hewn wooden shelves. ‘N’ most preferably equals 3. Each of the wooden legs has a hat, being configured as a picket in a fence.

Various other features, advantages, and characteristics of the present invention will become apparent after a reading of the following detailed description.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT(S)

A first embodiment of the rustic end table of the present invention is depicted in FIGS. 1-3 generally at 20. Rustic end table is elegant in its simplicity and nature. Rustic end table comprises a first plurality of wooden shelves 22A, 22B, 22C. In the embodiment shown, the first plurality is 3 although it is contemplated any number from 2 to 5 could likewise be accommodated.

Each of the plurality of wooden shelves has 2n edges, where n≥3. In the embodiment shown, ‘n’ is equal to 3 so ‘2n’ equals 6, making the shelves hexagonal. There are ‘n’ legs 24A, 24B, 24C attached to alternating ones of the 2n edges preferably using screws and/or adhesive. Alternatively, each of the edges to which the legs 24A, 24B, 24C are attached could be formed with a dovetail slot into which the legs are axially slid.

While it is contemplated that the tables 20 will be constructed and sold, it is additionally possible that the shelves and legs could be pre-drilled and sold as a kit with the appropriate fasteners.

Various changes, alternatives, and modifications will become apparent to a person of ordinary skill in the art after a reading of the foregoing specification. It is intended that all such changes, alternatives, and modifications as fall within the scope of the appended claims be considered part of the present invention.
