Abstract
A sample measuring apparatus of measuring a component in a biological sample, comprising: an input section for inputting a sample species of a biological sample; a measurement sample preparation section for preparing a measurement sample by mixing the biological sample with a reagent; a first measurement section; a second measurement section being different from the first measurement section; a measurement sample supply section for supplying the measurement sample prepared in the measurement sample preparation section to at least one of the first measurement section and second measurement section; and a control section for controlling the measurement sample supply section based on the inputted sample species.

Claims
  • 1. A sample measuring apparatus of measuring a component in a biological sample, comprising: an input section for inputting a sample species of a biological sample;a measurement sample preparation section for preparing a measurement sample by mixing the biological sample with a reagent;a first measurement section;a second measurement section being different from the first measurement section;a measurement sample supply section for supplying the measurement sample prepared in the measurement sample preparation section to at least one of the first measurement section and second measurement section; anda control section for controlling the measurement sample supply section based on the inputted sample species.
  • 2. The sample measuring, apparatus of claim 1, wherein the second measurement section has a difference measurement principle to the first measurement section.
  • 3. The sample measuring apparatus of claim 1, wherein the control section controls the measurement sample supply section so as to supply the measurement sample to the first measurement section when the inputted sample species is a first species, and controls the measurement sample supply section so as to supply the measurement sample to the first and second measurement sections when the inputted sample species is a second species.
  • 4. The sample measuring apparatus of claim 1, wherein the sample species comprises an animal species.
  • 5. The sample measuring apparatus of claim 3, wherein the second species is cat and the first species is an animal species other than cat.
  • 6. The sample measuring apparatus of claim 1, wherein the first measurement section comprises an electric measurement section for electrically measuring the measurement sample, andthe second measurement section comprises an optical measurement section for optically measuring the measurement sample.
  • 7. The sample measuring apparatus of claim 1, wherein the biological sample comprises a blood sample.
  • 8. The sample measuring apparatus of claim 1, wherein the reagent comprises a dilution solution.
  • 9. A sample measuring apparatus of measuring a component in a biological sample, comprising: an input section for inputting a sample species of the biological sample;a measurement sample preparation section of preparing a measurement sample by mixing the biological sample with a reagent;a measurement section for measuring the measurement sample by means of at least one of a first measurement principle and a second measurement principle being different from the first measurement principle; anda control section for controlling the measurement section so as to measure first and second components in the biological sample by the first measurement principle when the sample species of the biological sample is a first sample species, and for controlling the measurement section so as to measure the second component in the biological sample by the first measurement principle and the first component in the biological sample by the second measurement principle when the sample species of the biological sample is a second sample species.
  • 10. The sample measuring apparatus of claim 9, wherein the measurement section comprises the first measurement section as the first measurement principle and the second measurement section as the second measurement principle.
  • 11. The sample measuring apparatus of claim 9, wherein the second sample species is cat and the first sample species is an animal species other than cat.
  • 12. The sample measuring apparatus of claim 9, wherein the control section controls the measurement section so as to measure a third component in the biological sample by the second measurement principle regardless of the inputted sample species.
  • 13. The sample measuring apparatus of claim 10, wherein the first measurement section comprises an electric measurement section, andthe second measurement section comprises an optical measurement section.
  • 14. The sample measuring apparatus of claim 9, wherein the sample species comprises an animal species.
  • 15. The sample measuring apparatus of claim 9, wherein the first component comprises blood platelets, andthe second component comprises red blood cells.
  • 16. The sample measuring apparatus of claim 12, wherein the first component comprises blood platelets,the second component comprises red blood cells, andthe third component comprises white blood cells.
  • 17. A method of measuring a component in a biological sample, comprising steps of: receiving a sample species of the biological sample; andmeasuring first and second components in the biological sample by a first measurement principle when the sample species of the biological sample is a first sample species, or measuring the second component in the biological sample by the first measurement principle and the first component in the biological sample by a second measurement principle when the sample species of the biological sample is a second sample species.
  • 18. The sample measuring method of claim 17, wherein the biological sample comprises a blood sample.
  • 19. The sample measuring method of claim 17, wherein the sample species comprises an animal species.
  • 20. The sample measuring method of claim 17, wherein the first component comprises blood platelets, andthe second component comprises red blood cells
