1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to a drink coaster shaped like a sandal.
2. Description of Related Art
Sandals and flip-flops are open-toed shoes worn by both men and women. Women's flip-flops are typically more colorful and decorative than men's flip-flops to reflect their personal style and personality. Many women own multiple pairs of these open-toed shoes in different colors, styles, for various utility and with fun embellishments. A place where women like to show off and model their sandals is with friends. They may wear a pair of flip-flops that match their outfit or the event where they are going. This may be especially fun when going to grab drinks The friends may spend time socializing, sharing cocktails and modeling their latest footwear. It would be fun in the art to combine unique sandals designs and with social drinks to provide a customized drink holder. It would also be beneficial for the drink holder to securely position the drinking glass while also being a cute and decorative accessory.
In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the prior art, the general purpose of the present invention is to provide a sandal shaped drink holder, configured to include all of the advantages of the prior art, and to overcome the drawbacks inherent therein.
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a toe portion of a sandal to serve as a coaster, where the straps of the sandal secure a stemmed drink container to a table surface.
Another object of the present invention is to provide a decorative beverage coaster which may include custom designs to reflect the likes and personalities of the user.
To achieve the above objects, in an aspect of the present invention, a sandal coaster is described comprising a base, where the base is shaped like a toe portion of a sandal; a pair of straps attached to a top surface of the base, where the pair of straps attach to the top surface at a first connection and attach to each other and the base at a second connection; and a stemmed drink container, where the stemmed drink container includes a bowl, a stem and a foot, where the foot is positioned beneath the straps to prevent the stemmed drink container from moving.

The present invention relates to a beverage coaster that resembles a sandal or a flip-flop. The sandal coaster includes a pair of straps to secure a stemmed beverage container to the base.
The straps prevent the beverage from sliding or moving off the coaster. The sandal coaster may include embellishments and designs to resemble a real sandal or to coordinate with a user's decor.

The sandal coaster 100 may be decorated with a variety of patterns and embellishments. For example, the top surface 110 of the base may be decorated with fun patterns like animal prints, shapes, patterns and the like according to the likes of the user. The top surface 110 may be covered in a patterned, colored or textured cloth or fabric for added decoration. Alternatively, the top surface 110 may be textured like a real flip-flop with looped or bubbled rubber. A plurality of embellishments 114 may be added to the straps 104 for an aesthetic appeal. The embellishments 114 may also be on the base 102. The embellishments may be rhinestones, jewels, stones, buttons, studs, stickers, and the like. Additionally, ribbons or string may be tied into bows 112 or decoratively wrapped around the base 102 or straps 104 for even more customized looks to the sandal coaster 100.
