The invention concerns a sanding arrangement for a sanding machine or a wood working machine, and use thereof.
Such sanding arrangements are already known and used in a variety of forms and designs. For example, in DE 20 2014 104 310 U1 a sanding arrangement consisting of a sanding roller and a sanding belt and used in a wide belt sanding machine is revealed.
Particularly when using polyester-based abrasive belts, they are often torn off during use. In the case of such a polyester belt rupture on a contact or sanding roller of a sanding machine, the polyester fabric regularly melts on the sanding roller and thus leaves traces on the sanding roller. Later, the molten material must usually be removed from the surface with the help of a hard workpiece and manual work. This in turn causes regular damage to the sanding roller. Cleaning causes high personnel costs due to manual cleaning. And because of the long cleaning time, there are also generally high costs because the sanding machine cannot be used during the cleaning process. In addition, thorough cleaning is not always guaranteed.
An alternative to manual cleaning is the so-called inside-out belt. The sanding roller is cleaned by applying a standard silicon carbide abrasive belt with the abrasive grain facing inwards and carrier fabric facing outwards to this sanding arrangement. This belt is then installed in the sanding machine and by the rotational movement of the belt the abrasive grain then cleans the roller and scrapes away the dirt. However, the disadvantage of this procedure is that the abrasive grain regularly leads to scratch marks on the roller and this in turn damages the roller, which can lead to unwanted imbalances.
The task of this invention is to overcome the disadvantages arising from the state of the art. In particular, a sanding arrangement is to be provided which can be easily and thoroughly removed when a sanding belt, in particular a polyester sanding belt, is torn off.
To the solution of the problem lead the characteristics disclosed herein.
Advantageous embodiments are also described herein and in the subclaims.
The sanding arrangement according to the invention consists of a sanding machine roller and a second sanding machine roller, whereby a sanding belt is tensioned on and between the two sanding machine rollers. The sanding belt glides over a part of the outer rounding of the two sanding machine rollers. Thus the sanding belt is arranged on the sanding machine roller, whereby the sanding belt is arranged rotating between the sanding machine roller and the further sanding machine roller.
In this context, abrasive does not primarily mean that a rubbing, abrasive and then smoothing effect should be applied. Rather, abrasive in this context means that a friction should be present which enables a corresponding transmission of force. Less abrasive should describe less friction. Relative to this, there is a higher friction with an abrasive property. Abrasive and friction could be used synonymal.
The sanding arrangement is used in sanding machines. Especially in sanding machines for sanding wood, especially parquet.
According to the invention, a web of material is used. This material web consists of a natural material or a plastic or a natural material/plastic mixture. The material web has an abrasive side and a less abrasive side. The degree of abrasiveness is determined in such a way that the abrasiveness on the abrasive side is greater than the abrasiveness on the less abrasive side. Minor abrasive may also mean that the minor abrasive side is actually minor abrasive.
The abrasive side is relative and defined in comparison to the less abrasive side. Abrasive to less abrasive means that the abrasive side is relatively more abrasive than the less abrasive side.
In this context, a sandwich product consisting of two layers can also be considered as a material web. The first layer consists of polyester or cotton or a polyester-cotton mixture or paper or a mixture of all materials. The second layer in turn consists of a plastic web. The second layer is more flexible than the first layer. The first layer has a stabilizing effect on the second layer. The second layer counteracts the unwanted expansion of the second and flexible layer. It is especially advantageous if the first layer is less flexible than the second layer. The two layers are adhesively bonded together with an adhesive. This has the advantage that during the tape tensioning process the first layer counteracts the unwanted expansion of the second layer in a stabilizing way. The first layer can be less or less abrasive than the second layer or vice versa. The only thing that matters is the material composition of the first and second layers.
The material web is arranged between the sanding belt and the two sanding machine rollers, with the abrasive side facing the two sanding machine rollers and the less abrasive side facing the sanding belt. This has the advantage that the material web is held in a preferred position on the rotating two sanding machine rollers. The alignment of the less abrasive side of the material web to the abrasive belt in turn allows the use of commercially available abrasive belts in combination with the mounted material web.
The material web is a belt with synthetic microfibres or plastic particles. The material web is laid around the two sanding machine rollers or the two woodwork sanding rollers.
In another sanding arrangement, a first woodworking roller, a second woodworking roller and a steel belt are provided in a woodworking machine. This can be a Conti press, for example, as used in the wood-based panel industry or for the production of laminate. In this case, the steel strip is arranged so that it can move around on the two woodworking rollers. Here, too, there is a material web with an abrasive side and a less abrasive side. The material web is arranged between the two woodworking rolls and the steel strip with a circumferential arrangement, whereby the low-abrasive side is aligned with the woodworking roll and the abrasive side is aligned with the steel strip.
The abrasive side and the less abrasive side represent the two surfaces of the material web, which is formed on the one hand and on the other hand of the material web. These are not the thin edges of the material web, but the flat surfaces. The abrasive side is relative and defined in comparison to the less abrasive side. Abrasive to less abrasive means that the abrasive side has a higher abrasiveness than the less abrasive side.
The material web in use is a ring-shaped cleaning belt or belt to keep clean, whereby the material web is designed in adapted proportions to the sanding belt or steel belt. For example, the material web can be wider than the abrasive belt or steel belt so that the abrasive belt or steel belt lies completely on the material web.
An advantage of the material web is the fact that the two sanding rollers or the wooden rollers are not scratched and/or damaged. The same applies to the woodworking plant
A width of the material web should therefore be equal to or greater than the width of the abrasive belt or the steel belt. The material web is arranged in a ring around the sanding machine roller or the woodworking roller so that it can be rotated as well.
The material web can consist of several segments. This makes it easier to pull the material onto the roller and to transport it overall.
Furthermore, protection for the use of a material web to protect a sanding machine roller is described separately. A sanding belt is arranged on the sanding machine roller, whereby the material web has an abrasive side and a less abrasive side. The material web is placed in a ring or tube around the two existing sanding machine rollers. The material web is arranged between the sanding belt and the two sanding machine rollers, whereby the abrasive side is aligned with the two sanding machine rollers and the less abrasive side is aligned with the sanding belt.
Furthermore, protection for the use of a material web for the protection of wood mill sanding rolls is described separately. The material web is intended to protect the woodwork sanding rolls, whereby a steel belt is arranged on the two woodwork sanding rolls. The material web has an abrasive side and a less abrasive side, whereby the material web is laid around the two woodwork sanding rolls. The material web is positioned between the two woodworking sanding rolls and the steel belt, with the low-abrasive side aligned with the two woodworking sanding rolls and the abrasive side aligned with the steel belt.
Further advantages, features and details of the invention result from the following description of preferred execution examples as well as from the drawings; these show in:
A sanding belt 3 is also shown. The sanding belt 3 is fitted around the material track 2 on the two sanding machine rollers 1, 1.1. In
Material web 2 is an intermediate layer. If a further sanding machine roller not shown is used to clamp the sanding belt 3, the sanding belt 3 is positioned closely around the sanding machine roller 1 and the further sanding machine roller 1.1.
