BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
(1) Field of the Invention
The disclosure relates to sanitary accessory kits and more particularly pertains to a new sanitary accessory kit for sanitizing or cleaning objects or preventing exposure to germs via implementing barriers such as gloves and the like.
(2) Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 1.98
The prior art relates to sanitary accessory kits which are implemented in a stand or as part of an exercise machine to provide sanitation supplies to individuals. The prior art also describes arrangements for packing wipes into a storage and dispensing pouch. However, the prior art fails to disclose a sanitary accessory kit which may be worn on a person's body and may include several pouches which are independently movable with respect to each other to adjust their position with respect to the person. Such pouches may contain wipes, disinfectant spray, gloves, and the like.
BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a personal mounting member configured to be worn by a user, a storage pouch coupled to the personal mounting member, and a plurality of sanitation accessories stored in the storage pouch. The plurality of sanitation accessories includes a set of wipes and may include a disinfectant spray, a set of disposal bags for disposing of waste, gloves, paper towels, or the like. The personal mounting member may be a belt, a harness, an over-the-shoulder strap, or other suitable attachment member for wearing on a person's body.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 19 thereof, a new sanitary accessory kit embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.
As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 19, the sanitary supply kit 10 generally comprises a personal mounting member configured to be worn by a user, a storage pouch coupled to the personal mounting member, and a plurality of sanitation accessories stored in the storage pouch. The sanitation accessories may include a set of wipes, a disinfectant spray, a set of gloves, a set of disposal bags, or the like. In some embodiments, the storage pouch may also be configured to store a phone or other personal accessory. In some embodiments, the storage pouch is one of a plurality of storage pouches, each of which is coupled to the personal mounting member. The one or more storage pouches may have indicia to indicate the storage pouch or the compartment within the storage pouch in which a particular sanitation accessory or other personal accessory is stored. When the personal mounting member is worn by the user, the sanitation accessories and other personal accessories are readily accessible to the user. The user may access any of the sanitation accessories when interacting with objects or people in order to limit the spread of germs.
With reference to FIGS. 1 through 3, a storage pouch 12 is illustrated which may be used in an embodiment of the disclosure. The storage pouch 12 comprises a bottom wall 14 and a perimeter wall 16, wherein the perimeter wall 16 is coupled to and extends upwardly from the bottom wall 14. The storage pouch 12 defines a cavity 18 surrounded by the bottom wall 14 and the perimeter wall 16, and a top edge 20 of the perimeter wall 16 defines an opening 22 to the cavity 18. The storage pouch 12 further comprises an access flap 24 attached to the top edge 20 of the perimeter wall 16. The access flap 24 is movable to alternately open and close the opening 22. The storage pouch 12 further comprises a pouch closure 26 for securing the access flap 24 in a closed position with respect to the opening 22. The pouch closure 26 has a first mating member 28 coupled to a front of the perimeter wall 16 and a second mating member 30 coupled to the access flap 24. The pouch closure 26 is a hook-and-loop fastener but may be a snap button, a zipper, or the like.
A set of wipes 32 is contained in the storage pouch 12, but the storage pouch 12 may contain other sanitation accessories or other personal accessories. The storage pouch 12 may be one of a plurality of storage pouches 12 mounted to a personal mounting member, each of which stores a different sanitation accessory or other personal accessory. The storage pouch 12 also includes a mounting loop 34 on a back of the perimeter wall 16 for slidably mounting the storage pouch 12 to a personal mounting member such as a belt, a harness, or the like. In other embodiments, the storage pouch 12 may be integrally formed with the personal mounting member or may include a clip, a hook, a fastener, or the like to secure the storage pouch 12 to the personal mounting member.
FIGS. 4 and 5 also depict a storage pouch 36 which may be used in an embodiment of the disclosure. The storage pouch 36 comprises a bottom wall 38 and a perimeter wall 40, wherein the perimeter wall 40 is coupled to and extends upwardly from the bottom wall 38. The storage pouch 36 defines a cavity 42 surrounded by the bottom wall 38 and the perimeter wall 40, and a top edge 44 of the perimeter wall 40 defines an opening 46 to the cavity 42. A pair of dividers 48 are coupled to and extend between a front portion and a back portion of the perimeter wall 40. The dividers 48 define separate compartments in the cavity 42 of the storage pouch 36 for containing various sanitation accessories or other personal accessories in the storage pouch 36. The storage pouch 36 contains a set of wipes 50, a disinfectant spray 52, and a set of disposable bags 54 in separate compartments.
The storage pouch 36 further comprises an access flap 56 attached to the top edge 44 of the perimeter wall 40. The access flap 56 is movable to alternately open and close the opening 46. The storage pouch 36 further comprises a pouch closure 58 for securing the access flap 56 in a closed position with respect to the opening 46. The pouch closure 58 has a first mating member 60 coupled to a front of the perimeter wall 40 and a second mating member 62 coupled to the access flap 56. The pouch closure 58 is a hook-and-loop fastener but may be a snap button, a zipper, or the like.
The storage pouch 36 also includes a pair of mounting loops 64 on a back of the perimeter wall 40 for slidably mounting the storage pouch 36 to a personal mounting member such as a belt, a harness, or the like. In other embodiments, the storage pouch 36 may be integrally formed with the personal mounting member or may include a clip, a hook, a fastener, or the like to secure the storage pouch 36 to the personal mounting member.
With reference to FIGS. 6 through 10, a first embodiment is shown in which a personal mounting member 66 comprises a belt 68 configured to surround a torso of a user. The belt 68 comprises a strap 70 and a connector 72, wherein the connector 72 is configured to secure opposing ends of the strap 70 together. The connector 72 is a parachute buckle, but the connector 72 may be another type of buckle, a hook-and-loop fastener, a latch, or the like. The belt 68 is adjustable in length via the strap 70 sliding through the connector 72 to cinch the strap 70 around the user. A plurality of storage pouches 12 substantially as shown in FIGS. 1 through 3 and described above is slidably mounted to the belt 68. Each storage pouch 12 may slide along the belt 68 independently of the other storage pouches 12. Sanitation accessories may be held in the storage pouches 12 as more fully shown in FIGS. 1 through 3. In other embodiments, a single storage pouch 36, such as the one shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, may be mounted to the belt 68. FIG. 17 depicts the first embodiment in-use around the user. FIG. 18 depicts an embodiment similar to the first embodiment in which the storage pouch 36 substantially as shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 is mounted to the belt 68.
FIGS. 11 and 12 depict a second embodiment and a third embodiment respectively in which a personal mounting member 74, 90 comprises a harness 76, 92 comprising a waist strap 78, 94 and a pair of shoulder straps 86, 102. Each shoulder strap 86, 102 of the pair of shoulder straps 86, 102 is coupled to and extends between a front portion 80, 96 of the waist strap 78, 94 and a rear portion 82, 98 of the waist strap 78, 94. The harness 76, 92 includes a closure 88, 104 for selectively coupling a pair of ends 84, 100 of the waist strap 78, 94 together. In the second embodiment, the closure 88 comprises a parachute buckle. In the third embodiment, the closure 104 comprises a hook-and-loop fastener. In other embodiments, the closure 88, 104 may be another type of buckle, a snap button, or any other suitable fastener. A plurality of storage pouches 12 substantially as shown in FIGS. 1 through 3 and described above is slidably mounted to the waist strap 78, 94. Each storage pouch 12 may slide along the waist strap 78, 94 independently of the other storage pouches 12. Sanitation accessories may be held in the storage pouches as more fully shown in FIGS. 1 through 3. In other embodiments, a single storage pouch 36, such as the one shown in FIGS. 4 and 5, may be mounted to the waist strap 78, 94. In use, the harness 76, 92 is worn by a user by wrapping the waist strap 78, 94 around the torso or waist of the user and hanging the shoulder straps 86, 102 onto the user's shoulders. The contents of each storage pouch 12 are then readily accessible by the user.
FIGS. 13 and 14 depict a fourth embodiment in which a personal mounting member 106 comprises an over-the-shoulder strap 108. A plurality of storage pouches 110 is coupled to the waist strap via a pad 112. The pad 112 is mounted to the over-the-shoulder strap 108, and the plurality of storage pouches 110 is mounted on a front face 114 of the pad 112. The over-the-shoulder strap 108 extends through a bottom end 118 and a top end 116 of the pad 112, and the pad 112 may slide along the over-the-shoulder strap 108. When opened, openings of the storage pouches 110 generally face toward the top end 116 of the pad 112. The pad 112 is elongated between the top end 116 and the bottom end 118, and the storage pouches 110 are distributed along a line extending through the top end 116 and the bottom end 118 of the pad 112. A covering 144 is attached to the pad 112 and is positionable to cover the front face 114 of the pad 112 and the storage pouches 110. A zipper 146 selectively closes an outer edge 145 of the covering 144 against the pad 112 such that the covering 144 covers the front face 114 and the storage pouches 110. Other connectors may be used to selectively close the outer edge 145 of the covering 144 against the pad 112, such as buttons, ties, hook-and-loop fasteners, or the like. FIG. 19 depicts the fourth embodiment in-use on a user. The over-the-shoulder strap 108 may be worn as shown by extending over one of the user's shoulders and across the user's body to an opposing side of the user.
FIGS. 15 and 16 depicts a fifth embodiment in which a personal mounting member 120 comprises an over-the-shoulder strap 122. A plurality of storage pouches 124 is coupled to the waist strap via a pad 126. The pad 126 is mounted to the over-the-shoulder strap 122, and the plurality of storage pouches 124 is mounted on a front face 128 of the pad 126. The over-the-shoulder strap 122 extends through a bottom end 132 and a top end 130 of the pad 126, and the pad 126 may slide along the over-the-shoulder strap 122. When opened, openings of the storage pouches 124 generally face toward the top end 130 of the pad 126. The pad 126 is elongated between the top end 130 and the bottom end 132. The storage pouches 124 are arranged in a cross-shape in which a vertical portion 136 of the cross shape 134 is aligned with a line extending through the top end 130 and the bottom end 132 of the pad 126 and a transverse portion 138 of the cross shape 134 is aligned perpendicular to the vertical portion 136.
An accessory mount 140 is coupled to the front face 128 of the pad 126 for mounting another accessory onto the pad 126. The accessory mount 140 comprises a key ring, but the accessory mount 140 may comprise a clip, such as a carabiner clip, a hook, a tie string, or the like. A covering 148 is attached to the pad 126 and is positionable to cover the front face 128 of the pad 126 and the storage pouches 124. A zipper 150 selectively closes an outer edge 149 of the covering 148 against the pad 126 such that the covering 148 covers the front face 128 and the storage pouches 124. Other connectors may be used to selectively close the outer edge 149 of the covering 148 against the pad 126, such as buttons, ties, hook-and-loop fasteners, or the like.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
