The prior art relates to hand dryer devices. The prior art relates to a variety of hand dryer devices configured for either air drying or sanitizing a pair of hands. Known prior art lacks a hand dryer device having an ultraviolet light configured for sanitizing a pair of hands immediately after air drying the pair of hands.
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a housing enclosing an interior. The housing has a back wall having a top end and a bottom end. A bottom wall protrudes out from the bottom end of the back wall. Additionally, the housing has a front wall. A battery compartment is positioned within the interior of the housing and is configured for providing electric power to the sanitization hand dryer device. A microprocessor is in electric communication with the battery compartment. The microprocessor is configured for rendering data and executing actions of the sanitization hand dryer device. A blower is positioned within the interior of the housing. The blower has an outlet being positioned on the bottom wall of the housing. The blower is configured for air drying a pair of hands of a user positioned proximate to the outlet. A light is positioned proximate to the outlet on the bottom wall of the housing. The light is configured for emitting an ultraviolet light for sanitizing the pair of hands of the user subsequent to air drying the pair of hands of the user from the outlet of the blower. A motion sensor is positioned on the bottom wall of the housing and is configured for detecting the pair of hands positioned below the bottom wall wherein the microprocessor actuates the blower and the light. An indicator is position on the front wall of the housing and is configured for illuminating subsequent to the motion sensor detecting the pair of hands of the user. Furthermore, a basket is positioned proximate to the bottom wall of the housing and is configured for collecting liquid is expelled from the pair of hands of the user by the blower.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
A battery compartment 30 is positioned within the interior 14 of the housing 12. A door 32 of the battery compartment 30 is positioned on the back wall 16 of the housing 12. The battery compartment 30 is configured for holding a pair of disposable batteries 34 wherein the pair of disposable batteries 34 is configured for supplying electric power to the battery compartment 30. Moreover, the battery compartment 30 is configured for providing electric power to the sanitization hand dryer device 10. In addition, a microprocessor 36 is in electric communication with the battery compartment 30. The microprocessor 36 is configured for rendering data and executing actions of the sanitization hand dryer device 10. The microprocessor 36 is positioned within the interior 14 of the housing 12, as shown in
A blower 38 is positioned within the interior 14 of the housing 12 and is in electric communication with the microprocessor 36. The blower 38 is a plurality of fans 40 configured for discharging air. The blower 38 has an outlet 42 being positioned on the bottom wall 24 of the housing 12. The blower 38 is configured for air drying a pair of hands 44 of a user positioned proximate to the outlet 42. Furthermore, a light 46 is positioned proximate to the outlet 42 on the bottom wall 24 of the housing 12 and is in electric communication with the microprocessor 36. The light 46 is configured for emitting an ultraviolet light being configured for sanitizing wherein removing germs and bacteria from the pair of hands 44 of the user. The light 46 is configured for sanitizing the pair of hands 44 of the user subsequent to air drying the pair of hands 44 of the user from the outlet 42 of the blower 38.
A motion sensor 48 is positioned on the bottom wall 24 of the housing 12. The motion sensor 48 is in electric communication with the microprocessor 36 and is configured for detecting the pair of hands 44 positioned below the bottom wall 24 wherein the microprocessor 36 actuates the blower 38 and the light 46. Additionally, an indicator 50 is position on the front wall 26 of the housing 12. The indicator 50 is in electric communication with the microprocessor 36. The indicator 50 is a light emitting diode being configured for illuminating subsequent to the motion sensor 48 detecting the pair of hands 44 of the user. The indicator 50 provides visual verification to the user of the sanitizing hand dryer device 10 when the motion sensor 48 detects the pair of hands 44 of the user.
Furthermore, a basket 52 is positioned proximate to the bottom wall 24 of the housing 12. The basket 52 is a hand tray being configured for collecting liquid is expelled from the pair of hands 44 of the user by the blower 38. The basket 52 positions the pair of hands 44 proximate to the bottom wall 24 of the housing wherein optimizing a process of air drying and sanitizing the pair of hands 44. Additionally, the basket 52 is configured for reducing the spread of liquid expelled from the pair of hands 44 wherein reducing the spread of germs and bacteria.
In use, the pair of hands 44 of the user is positioned below the bottom wall 24 of the housing 12 and above the basket 52. The motion sensor 48 detects the pair of hands 44 and the indicator 50 illuminates to signify the presence of the pair of hands 44. The microprocessor 36 actuates the blower 38 and the light 46, thus the plurality of fans 40 of the blower 38 expels air upon the pair of hands 44 to remove liquid from the pair of hands 44 onto the basket 52. The basket 52 collects liquid to reduce the spread of germs and bacteria. The light 46 emits ultraviolet light upon the pair of hands 44 immediately subsequent to air drying the pair of hands 44 wherein maximizing the sanitation of the pair of hands 44.
