Clarke-MXR will develop a compact THz time domain spectrometer. Data collected using this instrument can be used to reconstruct the absorption spectrum of any non-metallic material through which THz radiation has passed. Applications for this spectrometer include : semiconductor wafer analysis; gas constituent analysis, combustion process characterization, and probing of pre-formed plastic.
