The Invention provides an improved hair-stick for people to wear in their hair. The invention can be manufactured out of wood, metal, or plastic. The device holds the hair in place but the invention has a unique modification that is lacking in other hair accessories. The invention enables an insertion to be placed within the hair-sticks to allow a perfumed scent to emit from the hair accessory.
Though the invention can be made out of wood or metal, it seems plastic is the most effective means of production. The invention is made out of plastic by using a injection mold. The shape of the invention is carved into the mold used to produce the invention. The mold will have both the main shaft of the invention and the top of the invention. Liquified plastic is then injected into the mold. After the plastic has cooled, the two separate pieces of the invention are removed and inspected for imperfections. Barring no imperfections, the two separate pieces are placed aside.
The main shaft, or body, is a hollow core with two sets of six small holes that run vertically down the length of the cone. These holes allow the scent to escape once the scented insertion has been placed within the cone. The top of the invention is a piece of plastic that can be fitted directly into the top of the body of the hair-stick. The top is fitted perfectly to the body of the hair-stick so that it can be pressed gently into place. This allows the scented insertion to remain in the body of the hair-stick.
The third component of the invention is a scented insert. The scented insertion is a stiff piece of porous fabric or cork that will be put into a scented liquid in order to absorb as much of the liquid as possible. After the insertion has absorbed the scented liquid it will be packaged to ensure that the scent does not dissipate.
The packaging will contain both the top and body of the hair-stick. The scented insertion will be in the package as well, but in its own protective wrapper to keep the scent form dissipating.
The “Scented Hair-Sticks” were invented by two adults. Katherine Joy Maples-Andrade and David Adam Fradkin. Both Katherine and David are citizens of the United States of America.

It is for this reason that the invention is called “Scented Hair-Sticks”. The invention, “Scented Hair-Sticks”, differs from other hair accessories because other hair accessories do not emit any kind of scented odor. Furthermore, other hair accessories do not have the ability to hold or emit scent.
The “Scented Hair-Sticks” have a unique hollow interior that allows for an insertion to be placed into the hair-sticks. The top of the hair-sticks can be removed to allow for the insertion of the perfume or scent, to be placed into the hair-sticks. The top of the hair- stick is a fitted piece of wood, metal or plastic. It can be pulled from the top of the hair-sticks and then pushed back into place. The insertion is a stiff piece of fabric or cork that contains perfume or other personal scents. The top of the hair-sticks can then be put back onto the scented hair-sticks to ensure that the scented insertion does not fall out. The scent is able to escape from the scented hair-sticks through a series of small holes that have been cut out of the side of the hair-sticks. Therefore, the scents can escape into the wearer's hair or into the air around them.
the invention “Scented Hair -Sticks” is composed of three different pieces that fit together to form the whole invention. In order to prevent confusion the figures are numbered one through three beginning with the top and ending with the piece that is placed inside the invention.
