The present invention relates to a scraper and, more particularly, to a scraper that possesses both excellent scraping efficiency and structural strength.
Taiwan Utility Model Patent No. M253457 discloses a multi-functional tool, which includes a handle and a blade body inserted and coupled to one end of the handle. The blade body has an irregularly shaped operational portion, which mainly has a flat scraping section at a front end, a nail-pulling hole at a middle section, and a bottle-opening hole at a rear end. The operational portion further includes a first side and a second side. The first side is sequentially provided with a lever section, a concave arc scraping section, and a cutting section. The second side is sequentially provided with a pointed knife section, a tarpaulin knife section, and a convex arc scraping section.
When using the aforementioned tool to work on flat areas, such as scraping or applying paint, the portion used is the flat scraping section. However, the flat scraping section of the tool is merely the sharpened edge of the metal plate, which is prone to wear or deformation. The most intuitive way to improve its shortcomings is to increase the thickness of the flat scraping section, but increasing the thickness of the flat scraping section will cause it to be not sharp enough, thus affecting the feel of the operation and reducing the scraping efficiency.
Thus, a need exists for a scraper to mitigate and/or obviate the above disadvantages.
The present embodiment provides a scraper that includes a blade body defining a rear end and a front end opposite the rear end. The blade body is provided with an end face at the front end, and the end face has a first edge connected to a bottom surface and a second edge connected to a top surface opposite the bottom surface. The top surface is provided with a plurality of grooves. Each of the plurality of grooves has a first end connected to the end face and a second end extended toward the rear end. A first thickness is formed between the first edge and the second edge, and a second thickness is formed between the first edge and the first end. The second thickness is less than the first thickness.
In one embodiment, the second thickness is less than 0.6 times the first thickness and greater than 0.3 times the first thickness.
In one embodiment, the bottom surface and the top surface are both in a planar structure. An angle is formed between the bottom surface and the top surface, and the angle is greater than 5 degrees and less than 15 degrees.
In one embodiment, the blade body further defines a left side and a right side. The second edge of the end face and the first ends of the plurality of grooves collectively form a wavy pattern extending from the left side to the right side.
In one embodiment, the blade body is further provided with a bottom plane and an top plane parallel to each other. The bottom plane is connected to one side of the bottom surface opposite to the end face, and the top plane is connected to one side of the top surface opposite to the end face. A third thickness is formed between the bottom plane and the top plane. The third thickness is greater than twice the first thickness and less than three times the first thickness.

The second thickness T2 may be less than 0.6 times the first thickness T1 and greater than 0.3 times the first thickness T1.
The bottom surface 24 and the top surface 25 are both in a planar structure. An angle A is formed between the bottom surface 24 and the top surface 25, and is greater than 5 degrees and less than 15 degrees.
The blade body 20 further defines a left side 26 and a right side 27, and wherein the second edge 232 of the end face 23 and the first ends 252 of the plurality of grooves 251 collectively form a wavy pattern extending from the left side 26 to the right side 27.
The blade body 20 is further provided with a bottom plane 28 and an top plane 29 parallel to each other, wherein the bottom plane 28 is connected to one side of the bottom surface 24 opposite to the end face 23, wherein the top plane 29 is connected to one side of the top surface 25 opposite to the end face 23, wherein a third thickness T3 is formed between the bottom plane 28 and the top plane 29, and wherein the third thickness T3 is greater than twice the first thickness T1 and less than three times the first thickness T1.
Therefore, the scraper 10 can provide good scraping efficiency and maintain good structural strength through the above structure.
