Abstract
A garment comprising a scrotal catch, wherein the scrotal catch is attached to at least a portion of the garment, and wherein the scrotal catch is configured to support, protect and/or cover at least a portion of a male's scrotum is provided.

Claims
  • 1. A garment comprising a scrotal catch, wherein the scrotal catch is attached to at least a portion of the garment, and wherein the scrotal catch is configured to support, protect and/or cover at least a portion of a male's scrotum.
  • 2. The garment of claim 1, wherein the scrotal catch is removably attached to the garment.
  • 3. The garment of claim 1, wherein the garment comprises a diaper, an absorbent article, an undergarment, a piece of clothing, a dressing, an athletic support, an incontinence garment or a combination thereof.
  • 4. The garment of claim 1, wherein the material of the scrotal catch comprises a flexible material.
  • 5. The garment of claim 4, wherein the flexible material comprises a woven fabric, a non-woven fabric, a film or any combination thereof.
  • 6. The garment of claim 1, wherein the scrotal catch comprises a breathable material.
  • 7. The garment of claim 1, wherein the garment comprises a woven fabric, a non-woven fabric, a film or any combination thereof.
  • 8. The garment of claim 1, wherein the garment comprises a breathable material.
  • 9. The garment of claim 1, wherein the garment comprises a perforated material.
  • 10. The garment of claim 1, wherein the scrotal catch is configured to provide a barrier to reduce and/or prevent the passage of fecal matter to the genital area.
  • 11. An insert comprising a scrotal catch and a non-flexible cup, wherein the scrotal catch is configured to support, protect and/or cover at least a portion of a male's scrotum and the cup is configured to support, protect and/or cover at least a portion of a male's genitalia.
  • 12. The insert of claim 11, wherein the non-flexible cup is configured to support, protect and/or cover a male's penis.
  • 13. The insert of claim 11, wherein the scrotal catch is removably attached to the cup.
  • 14. The insert of claim 11, wherein the scrotal catch is removably attached to the interior of the cup, the exterior of the cup, the bottom of the cup, or a combination thereof.
  • 15. The insert of claim 11, wherein the scrotal catch comprises a flexible material.
  • 16. The insert of claim 15, wherein the flexible material comprises a woven fabric, a non-woven fabric, a film or any combination thereof.
  • 17. The insert of claim 11, wherein the scrotal catch comprises a breathable material.
  • 18. The insert of claim 11, wherein the cup is porous.
  • 19. The insert of claim 11, wherein at least a portion of the cup is covered with a woven fabric, a non-woven fabric, a film or any combination thereof.
  • 20. The insert of claim 19, wherein the material covering the cup is breathable.
  • 21. The insert of claim 11, wherein the scrotal catch is configured to provide a barrier to reduce and/or prevent the passage of fecal matter to the genital area.
  • 22. The insert of claim 20, wherein the cup is configured to provide a barrier to reduce and/or prevent the passage of fecal matter to the genitalia area and is configured to protect the genital area from external pressure.
  • 23. The insert of claim 11, wherein the scrotal catch and/or the cup is attached to at least a portion of a garment.
  • 24. The insert of claim 23, wherein the garment comprises a diaper, an absorbent article, an undergarment, a piece of clothing, a dressing, a support, an incontinence garment or a combination thereof.
  • 25. An absorbent article comprising a top sheet, a bottom sheet, an absorbent core disposed between the top sheet and the bottom sheet, and a scrotal catch attached to at least a portion of the top sheet, wherein the scrotal catch is configured to support, protect and/or cover at least a portion of a male's scrotum.
  • 26. The absorbent article of claim 25, further comprising a non-flexible cup.
  • 27. The absorbent article of claim 26, wherein the cup is attached to at least a portion of the scrotal catch.
  • 28. The absorbent article of claim 26, wherein an opening is provided in the bottom sheet and/or the absorbent core for receiving the cup.
  • 29. The absorbent article of claim 25, wherein an opening is provided in the bottom sheet and/or absorbent core for receiving the male's genitalia.
  • 30. The absorbent article of claim 25, further comprising a moisture-indicating device.
  • 31. The absorbent article of claim 30, wherein the moisture indicating device comprises a sensor, a neck with a first end and a second end, and a moisture indicator, wherein the sensor is attached to the first end of the neck and the moisture indicator is attached to the second end of the neck, and wherein the sensor is located within the absorbent article and the moisture indicator is located at an outside surface of the absorbent article.
  • 32. The absorbent article of claim 25, wherein the scrotal catch is configured to provide a barrier to reduce and/or prevent the passage of fecal matter to the genital area.
  • 33. The absorbent article of claim 25, wherein the cup is configured to provide a barrier to reduce and/or prevent the passage of fecal matter to the genitalia area and is configured to protect the genital area from external pressure.
  • 34. The absorbent article of claim 26, wherein the top sheet is configured to receive the cup.
  • 35. The absorbent article of claim 34, wherein the cup is disposed between the top sheet and the absorbent core.
  • 36. The absorbent article of claim 26, further comprising a sleeve attached to the top layer, wherein the sleeve is configured to receive the cup.
