- a rotor member including a main portion, a radially outwardly extending intermediate portion, and an annular enclosure member, and wherein said rotor member main portion, said intermediate portion, and said enclosure member are integrally formed together in one piece, said intermediate portion being located between said rotor member main portion and said enclosure member, and wherein said main portion of said rotor member is surrounded by said cover member of said stator member, said cover member of said stator member being surrounded by said enclosure member of said rotor member; and
- wherein said cover member of said stator member and said enclosure member of said rotor member include a radially opening annular recess and a radially extending annular connecting portion, said connecting portion being located within said annular recess to rotatably connect said rotor member and said stator member together.
- 8. The device of claim 7, wherein said annular recess opens radially outwardly and is defined within said stator member, and wherein said connecting portion extends radially inwardly from said enclosure member.
- 9. The device of claim 7, wherein said stator member includes alternating ridges and grooves for forming a dynamic seal around a shaft, and wherein said stator member includes a radially outwardly opening annular recess for receiving an O-ring for forming a static seal between said stator member and a housing.
- 10. The device of claim 9, wherein said stator member has a shoulder located between said outwardly opening annular recess and said cover member, said shoulder having an outer diameter greater than the outer diameter of said outwardly opening annular recess, the outer diameter of said shoulder being the same as the outer diameter of said enclosure member.
