Claims
- 1. An insulation and sealing device comprising:
- an open topped trough fabricated of a flexible material and including a pair of diverging side walls arranged to create a wedge-shaped cross-sectional configuration for said trough; and
- a resilient insulating material disposed in the trough and exposed at the open top of the trough, said material being porous such that it can absorb expandable foam insulation material.
- 2. The insulation and sealing device of claim 1, wherein the material of the trough is impermeable.
- 3. The insulation and sealing device of claim 1, wherein the material of the trough comprises a plastic.
- 4. The insulation and sealing device of claim 1 wherein the material of the trough is heat resistant.
- 5. The insulation and sealing device of claim 1 wherein the material of the trough comprises a metallic foil.
- 6. The insulation and sealing device of claim 1, wherein the insulation material in the trough is an expanded foam material.
- 7. The insulation and sealing device of claim 6, wherein the foam material is an open-cell foam material.
- 8. The insulation and sealing device of claim 1, wherein the insulation material in the trough is a fibrous material.
- 9. The insulation and sealing device of claim 1, further comprising means for attaching the trough defining means to a surface.
