Claims
- 1. A linear guide apparatus comprising:an axially extending guide rail having a first rolling groove on its outer surface; a slider engaged with the guide rail and having a second rolling groove, rolling element return grooves and curved grooves, the second rolling groove confronting the first rolling groove, the rolling element return grooves being coupled to both end portions of the second rolling groove through the curved grooves, respectively; a plurality of rolling elements loaded into the slider to be made circulatable through the second rolling groove, the curved grooves, and the rolling element return grooves; a lubricant-containing member having a contact portion contacting with the guide rail; and a first plate member fitted to the lubricant-containing member, wherein the lubricant-containing member is interposed between the slider and the first plate member; wherein said lubricant-containing member is a member separate from said first plate member; and wherein said lubricant-containing member supplies a lubricant to a side seal that is disposed adjacent said lubricant-containing member.
- 2. The linear guide apparatus of claim 1, wherein said lubricant-containing member is a lubricant-containing polymer member formed of a synthetic resin containing a lubricant.
- 3. The linear guide apparatus of claim 1, wherein the first plate member comprises the side seal.
- 4. The linear guide apparatus of claim 1, wherein said lubricant-containing member is pressed onto said guide rail.
- 5. The linear guide apparatus of claim 1, wherein said lubricant-containing member is deformable in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of said guide rail.
- 6. The linear guide apparatus of claim 1, wherein said first plate member and said lubricant-containing member directly contact each other.
- 7. The linear guide apparatus of claim 1, wherein the lubricant-containing member is formed of a polymer containing 20 to 80% lubricant by weight.
- 8. The linear guide apparatus of claim 1, wherein said lubricant-containing member further comprises:wing portions; and a connecting portion connecting the wing portions that forms a substantially C-shape.
- 9. The linear guide apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the lubricant-containing member comprises:a lubricant-containing moldable member formed by molding.
- 10. The linear guide apparatus according to claim 1, wherein the lubricant-containing member seals a clearance existing between the guide rail and the slider.
- 11. A linear guide apparatus comprising:an axially extending guide rail having a first rolling groove on its outer surface; a slider engaged with the guide rail and having a second rolling groove, rolling element return grooves, and curved grooves, the second rolling groove confronting the first rolling groove, the rolling element return grooves being coupled to both end portions of the second rolling groove through the curved grooves, respectively; a plurality of rolling elements loaded into the slider to be made circulatable through the second rolling groove, the curved grooves, and the rolling element return grooves; a sealing member fixed to the slider in slidable contact with the guide rail for sealing a clearance existing between the guide rail and the slider; a first plate member fitted to the sealing member, wherein the sealing member is interposed between the slider and the first plate member; and a second plate member interposed between the slider and the sealing member, wherein said sealing member is a member separate from said first plate member; and wherein said sealing member further comprises: wing portions; and a connecting portion connecting the wing portions that forms a substantially C-shape; and wherein the wing portions and the connecting portion form an opening that is deformed so that the sealing member closely contacts the guide rail.
- 12. The linear guide apparatus of claim 11, wherein at least one of the first plate member and the second plate member comprises a side seal.
- 13. The linear guide apparatus of claim 11, wherein said sealing member comprises a recess or a through hole, and said linear guide apparatus further comprises a cylindrical member inserted into the recess or the through hole.
- 14. The linear guide apparatus of claim 11, wherein the sealing member comprises a pair of first recesses formed in the wing portions, respectively, and said linear guide apparatus further comprises a pair of first cylindrical members inserted into the first recesses, respectively; and wherein each of the first cylindrical members has an axial length larger than a thickness of the sealing member.
- 15. The linear guide apparatus of claim 11, wherein the sealing member has an elastic member to press against the guide rail.
- 16. The linear guide apparatus of claim 15, wherein the elastic member extends along a contact portion, the elastic member being fitted close to the contact portion.
- 17. The linear guide apparatus of claim 11, wherein said slider further comprises a bolt for supporting said sealing member relative to said slider, and wherein said sealing member has a recess or a through-hole through which said bolt passes.
- 18. A linear guide apparatus comprising:an axially extending guide rail having a first rolling groove on its outer surface; a slider engaged with the guide rail and having a second rolling groove, rolling element return grooves, and curved grooves, the second rolling groove confronting the first rolling groove, the rolling element return grooves being coupled to both end portions of the second rolling groove through the curved grooves, respectively; a plurality of rolling elements loaded into the slider to be made circulatable through the second rolling groove, the curved grooves, and the rolling element return grooves; a sealing member fixed to the slider in slidable contact with the guide rail for sealing a clearance existing between the guide rail and the slider; a first plate member fitted to the sealing member, wherein the sealing member is interposed between the slider and the first plate member; and a second plate member interposed between the slider and the sealing member, wherein said sealing member is a member separate from said first plate member; wherein said sealing member further comprises: wing portions; and a connecting portion connecting the wing portions that forms a substantially C-shape; and wherein said sealing member comprises a pair of first recesses formed in the wing portions, respectively, and said linear guide apparatus further comprises a pair of first cylindrical members inserted into the first recesses, respectively; and wherein the sealing member includes a second recess formed in the connecting portion, and said linear guide apparatus comprises a second cylindrical member inserted into the second recess, the second cylindrical member having an outer diameter larger than an inner diameter of the second recess.
- 19. The linear guide apparatus of claim 18, wherein at least one of the first plate member and the second plate member comprises a side seal.
- 20. The linear guide apparatus of claim 18, wherein said first and second recesses are through holes.
- 21. The linear guide apparatus of claim 18, wherein each of the first cylindrical members has an axial length larger than a thickness of the sealing member.
- 22. The linear guide apparatus of claim 18, wherein the sealing member has an elastic member to press against the guide rail.
- 23. The linear guide apparatus of claim 18, wherein the elastic member extends along a contact portion, the elastic member being fitted close to the contact portion.
- 24. The linear guide apparatus of claim 18, wherein said slider further comprises a bolt for supporting said sealing member relative to said slider, and wherein said bolt passes through one of said first and second recesses.
- 25. The linear guide apparatus of claim 18, wherein the second cylindrical member has an axial length larger than a thickness of the sealing member.
- 26. The linear guide apparatus of claim 25, wherein at least one of the first plate member and the second plate member comprises a side seal.
- 27. The linear guide apparatus of claim 25, wherein said first and second recesses are through holes.
- 28. The linear guide apparatus of claim 25, wherein each of the first cylindrical members has an axial length larger than a thickness of the sealing member.
- 29. The linear guide apparatus of claim 25, wherein the sealing member has an elastic member to press against the guide rail.
- 30. The linear guide apparatus of claim 29, wherein the elastic member extends along a contact portion, the elastic member being fitted close to the contact portion.
- 31. The linear guide apparatus of claim 25, wherein said slider further comprises a bolt for supporting said sealing member relative to said slider, and wherein said bolt passes through one of said first and second recesses.
- 32. A linear guide apparatus comprising:an axially extending guide rail having a first rolling groove on its outer surface; a slider engaged with the guide rail and having a second rolling groove, rolling element return grooves, and curved grooves, the second rolling groove confronting the first rolling groove, the rolling element return grooves being coupled to both end portions of the second rolling groove through the curved grooves, respectively; a plurality of rolling elements loaded into the slider to be made circulatable through the second rolling groove, the curved grooves, and the rolling element return grooves; a sealing member fixed to the slider in slidable contact with the guide rail for sealing a clearance existing between the guide rail and the slider; a first plate member fitted to the sealing member, wherein the sealing member is interposed between the slider and the first plate member; and a second plate member interposed between the slider and the sealing member, wherein said sealing member is a member separate from said first plate member; wherein said sealing member further comprises: wing portions; and a connecting portion connecting the wing portions that forms a substantially C-shape; and wherein said sealing member comprises a pair of first recesses formed in the wing portions, respectively, and said linear guide apparatus further comprises a pair of first cylindrical members inserted into the first recesses, respectively; and wherein each of the first cylindrical members has a ring shape.
- 33. The linear guide apparatus of claim 32, wherein at least one of the first plate member and the second plate member comprises a side seal.
- 34. The linear guide apparatus of claim 32, wherein said first recesses are through holes.
- 35. The linear guide apparatus of claim 32, wherein each of the first cylindrical members has an axial length larger than a thickness of the sealing member.
- 36. The linear guide apparatus of claim 32, wherein the sealing member has an elastic member to press against the guide rail.
- 37. The linear guide apparatus of claim 36, wherein the elastic member extends along a contact portion, the elastic member being fitted close to the contact portion.
- 38. The linear guide apparatus of claim 32, wherein said slider further comprises a bolt for supporting said sealing member relative to said slider, and wherein said bolt passes through said first recesses.
- 39. A linear guide apparatus comprising:an axially extending guide rail having a first rolling groove on its outer surface; a slider engaged with the guide rail and having a second rolling groove, rolling element return grooves, and curved grooves, the second rolling groove confronting the first rolling groove, the rolling element return grooves being coupled to both end portions of the second rolling groove through the curved grooves, respectively; a plurality of rolling elements loaded into the slider to be made circulatable through the second rolling groove, the curved grooves, and the rolling element return grooves; a sealing member fixed to the slider in slidable contact with the guide rail for sealing a clearance existing between the guide rail and the slider; a first plate member fitted to the sealing member, wherein the sealing member is interposed between the slider and the first plate member; and a second plate member interposed between the slider and the sealing member, wherein said sealing member is a member separate from said first plate member; and wherein said sealing member includes a lubricant-containing member.
- 40. The linear guide apparatus of claim 39, wherein at least one of the first plate member and the second plate member comprises a side seal.
- 41. The linear guide apparatus of claim 39, wherein said sealing member comprises a recess or a through hole, and said linear guide apparatus further comprises a cylindrical member inserted into the recess or the through hole.
- 42. The linear guide apparatus of claim 39, wherein said sealing member comprises a pair of first recesses formed in the wing portions, respectively, and said linear guide apparatus further comprises a pair of first cylindrical members inserted into the first recesses, respectively; and wherein each of the first cylindrical members has an axial length larger than a thickness of the sealing member.
- 43. The linear guide apparatus of claim 39, the sealing member has an elastic member to press against the guide rail.
- 44. The linear guide apparatus of claim 43, wherein the elastic member extends along a contact portion, the elastic member being fitted close to the contact portion.
- 45. The linear guide apparatus of claim 39, wherein said slider further comprises a bolt for supporting said sealing member relative to said slider, and wherein said sealing member further comprises both wing portions, and a connecting portion connecting the wing portions that forms a substantially C-shape, and said sealing member having a recess or a through-hole through which said bolt passes.
- 46. The linear guide apparatus of claim 39, wherein the lubricant-containing member is formed of a synthetic resin containing a lubricant.
- 47. The linear guide apparatus of claim 46, wherein at least one of the first plate member and the second plate member comprises a side seal.
- 48. The linear guide apparatus of claim 46, wherein said sealing member comprises a recess or a through hole, and said linear guide apparatus further comprises a cylindrical member inserted into the recess or the through hole.
- 49. The linear guide apparatus of claim 46, wherein said sealing member comprises a pair of first recesses formed in the wing portions, respectively, and said linear guide apparatus further comprises a pair of first cylindrical members inserted into the first recesses, respectively; and wherein each of the first cylindrical members has an axial length larger than a thickness of the sealing member.
- 50. The linear guide apparatus of claim 46, wherein the sealing member has an elastic member to press against the guide rail.
- 51. The linear guide apparatus of claim 50, wherein the elastic member extends along a contact portion, the elastic member being fitted close to the contact portion.
- 52. The linear guide apparatus of claim 46, wherein said slider further comprises a bolt for supporting said sealing member relative to said slider, and wherein said sealing member further comprises both wing portions, and a connecting portion connecting the wing portions that forms a substantially C-shape, and said sealing member having a recess or a through-hole through which said bolt passes.
