Claims
- 1. A heat treated seat cover comprising a laminate of a sheet of surface material, a sheet of untreated foam polyurethane material, and a reinforcing fabric material positioned in the above order and characterized in that the surface material, the foam polyurethane material and the reinforcing material are integrally welded together at localized spaced portions thereof by a fused polyurethane sheet formed by high frequency dialectric heating combined with a second, externally applied heat source.
- 2. A heat treated seat cover as in claim 1, characterized in that the surface material is fusible material and that the upper side of the surface material is less fused than the back side thereof, which back side is adjacent the fused polyurethane layer.
- 3. A heat treated seat cover as in claim 1, characterized in that the surface material is infusible material.
