Claims
- 1. A battery comprising:
- energy storage means for storing energy and for providing energy in response to exposure to at least one activating gas; and
- tape sealing means comprising at least two tape portions being removably adhesively affixed to a surface of the battery for incrementally controlling the amount of one or more activating gases provided to the energy storage means by removing one or more of the at least two tape portions of the tape sealing means.
- 2. A battery, comprising:
- energy storage means for storing energy and for providing energy in response to exposure to at least one activating gas; and
- tape sealing means comprising at least two portions being removably adhesively affixed contiguous to an outer casing of the battery for selectively limiting the at least one activating gas from reaching said energy means.
- 3. A battery, comprising:
- energy storage means for storing energy and for providing energy in response to exposure to an atmosphere; and
- tape sealing means for comprising a plurality of tape portions being removably adhesively fixed to the battery so as to selectively and incrementally control exposure of said energy storage means to the atmosphere.
- 4. The battery according to claim 3 wherein said battery comprises a zinc-air battery.
- 5. The battery according to claim 3 wherein said energy means comprises a chemical reaction.
- 6. The battery according to claim 5 wherein said chemical reaction includes zinc and air.
