Claims
- 1. A covering arrangement for a wall enclosure moveable from a coplanar relationship to a parallel juxtaposed relationship, comprising:
a track structure comprising:
a first elongated track, a second elongated track disposed substantially parallel to and spaced from the first track, each track having a slot formed therein, a first slotted transverse track open to the first elongated track and second elongated track and having a slot formed therein, a second transverse track spaced apart from the first transverse track and open to the first and second elongated tracks, and having a slot formed therein, a first bracket member, a first cover member connected to the first bracket member, the first bracket member comprising means for slidably moving the first cover member in the first track, into and past the first and second transverse tracks and into the second elongated track, a second cover member, a second bracket member, the second cover member connected to the second bracket, the second bracket comprising means for slidably moving the second cover member in the first elongated track.
- 2. The arrangement of claim 1 wherein the means for slidably moving the first cover member comprises;
first and second spaced apart spools, each spool including:
a rotatable disc disposed exteriorly of the track structure and a reduced diameter medial portion, the spools being secured to the first bracket a distance substantially equal to the distance between separating the transverse tracks, each spool further including a reduced diameter medial portion, each medial portion being movable in the slot of the first and second elongated tracks, one reduced diameter portion being slidable in an associated slot of an associated transverse track.
- 3. The covering arrangement of claim 2 wherein each bracket comprises an L-shaped member, each bracket having a pair of spaced apart axles secured to projecting therefrom, a spool being associated with and mounted onto an associated axle.
- 4. The covering arrangement of claim 1 comprising:
first means for mounting the first cover member in substantially parallel relation, at least in part, above a first door member, and second means for mounting the second cover member in substantially parallel relation and disposed, at least in part, above a second door member, the second means for mounting including:
the track structure across the top of said door members in substantially parallel spaced relation thereto, and the first bracket assembly including a pair of bracket members for movement of the first cover member between a coplanar and a parallel relation with the second cover member, each bracket member including:
a link plate having first and second end portions, a roller carriage connected to the guide track for movement between opposite ends of the track and connected to one end portion of the link plate for rotation relative thereto, and a mounting clip fixedly connected to the second cover member and connected to the other end portion of the link plate for rotation relative thereto, the mounting clips being laterally spaced from one another; the connections to the link plates, mounting clips and roller housings cooperate to form a parallelogram support that enables the link plates to locate the second cover member from a coplanar to a parallel relation with the first cover member and the roller housings moving the second cover member into juxtaposition with the first cover member.
- 5. The covering arrangement of claim 4, wherein
the track structure extends across the top of the door members for mounting the cover members in substantially coplanar relation with one another and parallel relation to a respective of the door members when the cover members are in first position, track structure comprising:
first and second guide tracks extending across the top of said door members in substantially parallel spaced relation thereto with the second guide track being remote to the first guide track and door members, first and second transverse guide tracks connecting the first and second guide tracks to one another in parallel spaced apart relation, each guide track having a slot therein with the slots interconnecting with one another to form a slot structure, and a bracket members fixedly connected to each cover member for mounting the cover members in the track structure for movement between coplanar and parallel relation with one another and parallel relation with a selected door member, bracket member comprising:
a sliding carriage disposed in the track structure for slidable movement relative to the guide and transfer tracks, a mounting clip fixedly connected to the cover member, and a stem member, the stem having a first end connected to the slide carriage and a lower end connected to the mounting clip for relative rotation therebetween, the stem having a transverse cross-section slightly smaller than the width of the slot and received within the slot structure to constrain the movement of the cover members between the selected positions.
