Claims
- 1. A compound for use in an improved NF.sub.3 --F.sub.2 gas generator, said compound having the general composition (NF.sub.4.sup.+).sub.n A.sup.n-, wherein A.sup.n- is derived from TiF.sub.4 and is self-clinkering.
- 2. A compound for use in an improved NF.sub.3 --F.sub.2 gas generator, said compound having the general composition (NF.sub.4.sup.+).sub.n A.sup.n-, wherein A.sup.n- is TiF.sub.6.sup.-- and is self-clinkering.
- 3. A compound for use in an improved NF.sub.3 --F.sub.2 gas generator, said compound having the general composition (NF.sub.4 .sup.+).sub.n A.sup.n-, wherein A.sup.n- is Ti.sub.2 F.sub.9 .sup.- and is self-clinkering.
- 4. A compound for use in an improved NF.sub.3 --F.sub.2 gas generator, said compound having the general composition (NF.sub.4.sup.+).sub.n A.sup.n-, wherein A.sup.n- is Ti.sub.3 F.sub.13.sup.- and is self-clinkering.
- 5. A compound for use in an improved NF.sub.3 -F.sub.2 gas generator, said compound having the general composition (NF.sub.4).sub.n.sup.+ A.sup.n-, wherein A.sup.n- is Ti.sub.6 F.sub.25.sup.- and is self-clinkering.
- 6. A process for the production of NF.sub.4.sup.+ TiF.sub.5.sup.-. nTiF.sub.4, comprising the steps of treating NF.sub.4 BF.sub.4 with TiF.sub.4 in anhydrous HF solution at room temperature.
- 7. A process for the production of NF.sub.4.sup.+ TiF.sub.5.sup.-. nTiF.sub.4, comprising the step of treating NF.sub.4 BF.sub.4 with TiF.sub.4 at temperatures ranging from 150.degree. to 200.degree. C.
- 8. A process for the production of NF.sub.4 Ti.sub.6 F.sub.25, comprising the step of heating a mixture of NF.sub.3, F.sub.2 and TiF.sub.4 to 170.degree. C. to 200.degree. C. at elevated pressure.
