Claims
- 1. A thermoplastic bag pack having first and second sides and bottom and top ends, said bag pack comprising a plurality of stacked, aligned bags, each of said bags comprising:
- a bag mouth having opposing ends and a medial area therebetween, said bag mouth having a lower edge;
- first and second handles emanating from said bag mouth;
- said bag pack further comprising first and second punch stamps formed in each of said first and second handles, said first and second punch stamps formed by first and second punches, each having a tip including first and second cutting edges.
- 2. The thermoplastic bag pack of claim 1, wherein there is further provided a releasable tab having opposing sides (111), (112) emanating from said medial area of said bag mouth.
- 3. The thermoplastic bag pack of claim 2, wherein said releasable tab has formed therein a dispense cut (105) having first (109) and second (109') ends and a medial area (106) therebetween having first (107) and second (107'), said medial area (106) of the said dispense cut being situated generally above said lower edge (110) of said bag mouth, with each end (107), (107') of said medial area curving in radial fashion towards said bottom end of said bag, then curving (108), (108') towards said top end of said bag, such that each said end (109), (109') of said dispense cut is situated generally adjacent to opposing sides (111), (112) of said releasable tab 101, respectively, so as to form a rupture zone 124.

No. 5,561,967, issued Oct. 8, 1996 and filed Nov. 10, 1994, which is a continuation-in-part of Ser. No. 08/124,278 U.S. Pat. No. 5,363,965, issued Nov. 15, 1994 and filed Sep. 20, 1993.
